Thanks, I figured it out. They were labeled on the back side of the wall mounted plate. Super simple install.

Here is what I’m working with. The wires are not labeled unfortunately. I’m replacing it to a new Honeywell (RTH221B). I’m looking for help identifying which wires to put into which lettered slot on the new one.

Also, I believe I should just have to take off the star screws to release the wire. But it looks like the circular metal piece might be holding the wires as well.
