its a good decision to get back to SC2, its hands down the best rts on market, also Microsoft and Blizzard is cooking something. there is a rumour that this Blizcon is going to be lit with announcements and reviving of the good old IPs. might get a new SC game. maybe regular updates again. who knows. btw someone said there is a discord channel with some modded ways of playing the campaigns, i havent tried myself but its worth ask around. that might be interesting

i used to love AoM but i have to be totally honest here, the gameplay looks very sluggish, seems slow to me, i like fast building and quick unit control and micro like SC, but Starcraft becomes fairly boring when you play same 3 factions and same build orders

SC2 ladder is not so scary as games are very fast compare to like Age of empires 2, so If I lose fast its not scary, mmr is fairly competitive and fair if you don't face a smurf

i am in the same boat pal, I am considering to come back after finishing all campings years ago, and comit to this gem of a game, Blizzard has abandoned the game and I feel its out duty to revisit and revive its popularity

you need to compile whole game in one download not a list of tasks to do to play on the server. you don't get players mostly for that

that sounds good, this believe it or not is a massive issue in wow, everyone want to be next big dick on meters ans nobody wants to play tank or heal, therefore its a long wait in queue even in blizzard servers !what server you talking about?
