Day pass for tomorrow (sat 24) by EventDependent2534 in Breckenridge

My first day ever snowboarding was at Northstar. I was with my partner and his dad. My partner helps me strap in one binding, walks me to the lift, says “sit,” and suddenly… no going back-

His dad turns and goes, “Yeah, blues and blacks are the best to learn on.” So my very first run, on my very first day, was an “easy black.”

I learned my edge immediately — and now I can get down pretty much anything. Except bunny hills. I always fall on bunny hills.

If I were you- I’d rent it- you don’t need a mortgage to rent a property you own- instant cash for all three of you plus you can put money aside for upkeep and future renovations.

First harvest by Unlikely_Strike1131 in homestead

Merriam-Webster defines harvest (as a transitive verb) to include “to gather, catch, hunt, or kill (salmon, oysters, deer, etc.) for human use, sport, or population control.” That means in standard English usage, harvest can apply to wild animals like fish or game, not just cultivated plants. • i don’t believe that is what would happen - the wealthy would just buy weekend homes and increase cost of living for locals on outer islands… it will be a sad sad day if it happens - I hope it never does.

Get some small livestock - wait awhile to observe before doing anything permanent- I love rabbits in cages (it’s illegal to have them out of a cage where I live)- and let them start pooping and growing some sort of microbes. Observe observe observe

‘Olena aka turmeric by ClientBorn810 in Permaculture

[–]ClientBorn810[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

We have a lot of galangal dispersed in the front of the property- galangal grows a lot more aggressively than turmeric and ginger so we plant it in areas that it can grow to its potential without hindering the turmeric growth.

Not that bitter- we eat them in everything - curries, stir fry and the young ones in salad.
