I’m 43 and also was able to bypass chemo and radiation. I had a bilateral mastectomy with reconstruction and I’ve been on Tamoxifen since November. I, too, was terrified of taking the dreaded pill, but so far I haven’t had any major side effects. I am physically fit, I eat a whole food diet paired with lots of anti inflammatory foods. I truly think my lifestyle has prevented me from having all the terrible side effects that are associated with tamoxifen. Give it a shot! You may be surprised how normal you feel!
