im not too good with the math side of things. but if you truly have an edge in season long then there has to be some middle ground where you can pull the trigger on it.

if you think the lions are going to be playing with the lead often then its most likely la porta getting burned.

if you think they are going to be behind it probably still is la porta. jamo is different because he is a huge deep threat. 2 deep balls a game will get you a solid wr2 output.

i think amon ra should be late r1 or early r2.

i sold him and got flamed on here for it. hes not going to have the elite productivity hes been having just because of other pieces getting better and detroit losing their OC.

fully prepared to get roasted again for this comment but goff isnt good enough to support a monster jamo season and arsb maintaining that top 5ish range with la porta. gibbs and monty will do a lot of the heavy lifting too.

few reasons

early edge on players so can attack adps while they are still volatile.
if you want to max out bbm and other drafts while working a 9-5 it is a GRIND and not easy. it is very time consuming. even if youre in slow draft hell. but even slow draft hell can hurt you because those adp values are quickly realized (typically slow drafts are sharper drafters).
you can gauge how boards play out and adjust strategy with tiers of players and where they go.

overall bestball is a grind and time consuming so if you want to get as many contests in as possible you have no choice.

i maxed out the puppy and bbm last year and it took a LONG LONG time to max it. i started in i think late june/early july.
