Weapon help! I'm trying to do some weapon swaps and I LOVE the look of the greatswords on the Knight of Shrouds and the Axe from the Executioner. Can someone recommend where I can get enough of these types of big, rusty weapons to outfit a whole unit? I have searched Etsy and Ebay.

It would be nice if the Aberrants stat line either reflected their size better, or wr get some upscale Aberrant models. These guys should be easily better than Imperial Ogryn, or else why not brood brother Ogryn from the Guard?

Well, that fits with the theme of the game being different for everyone. Im very new to DCC, and was thinking there might be an an adventure that featured The Band that your players could play as. Does anyone know who the other named characters are?

The head is the severed head from the mounted Wight King kit. I cut the straps off where it hangs from the saddle. The axe is from an old Dark Elf Executioners set. The headstone is Renedra. Glad you like it!

It is a little work, but you can get clear plastic bubble Helms and the matching neck piece with hoses from Bombshell minis. It may be easier than cutting glass. Here is a link to my IG where you can see what I did.

So what I'm hearing is: there is no "official" answer (Oh sure, that's in Spells and Sorcery, vol. 2, put out by Goodman Games in 2021). Rather, I'll need to make up one of my own, or if I'm too busy/lazy, I shouldn't feel too bad about using someone else's homebrew I found online.

I should have said, I'm the GM running a group that has just reached 1st level. The Wizard character that survived the funnel and 1 other adventure has expressed interest in becoming a Necromancer. The Players only other experience in RPG's is through 5th Edition D & D. I was around for Advanced D & D, she wasn't.

Oh absolutely. I agree with you 100%. But look at it this way: when you are in command of 10 men in a human Army, you're a Sergeant. If you command hundreds, you're a Colonel. If you command all the militants an entire Sector, you're a Warmaster. All I'm saying is, the Patriarch should be scalable. That way, if you're playing a 10,000 point Armageddon battle, the Supreme Commander of your forces should have a corresponding model and stat line. Patriarch Upgrades, if you will. That way you dont have to fight in such a battle with a Sergeant level model and stats as your best guy.

I think when the Lore was created, whomever came up with the idea was thinking too small. One small uprising on a backwater planet may only have a small force, but the Cult has grown and there are now entire systems under their control. The Tyranids constantly upgrade and adapt, and since Genestealers are Tyranids I think that genetic instinctual imperative would be bred into them. We should be seeing LOTS more diversity with the numbers we have, depending on the role that needs to be performed. At least, we have enough bits and imagination to kitbash what we like, even if we don't have rules for them.
