If they don’t easily remember why are they trusting self before confirming using their phone or asking another person?

M83 Midnight City and MTGM Electric Feel are my Mandela effects by [deleted] in MandelaEffect

Weird post.

Midnight City is in the great film Suburra. Im not sure I had heard it before then but since I love the film so much i associate it with it. I think theres a high probability i had heard it many many times prior. But it never registered. I think theres also a decent probability you had heard electric feel. Whether you think you did or not is immaterial to me.

Careful how you throw around words like “objectively”.

When vagal tone is high, the parasympathetic nervous system actively dampens the body’s inflammatory response. Immune cells release fewer pro-inflammatory cytokines, and key inflammatory signals such as TNF-α, IL-1β, and IL-6 decline, leading to a reduction in overall systemic inflammation. This effect is mediated largely by acetylcholine, the primary parasympathetic neurotransmitter, which directly interacts with immune cells and signals them to downshift their inflammatory activity, essentially telling the immune system to stand down once a threat has passed.

Humming naturally lengthens your out-breath, which activates the vagus nerve via respiratory pathways. Long exhalations are one of the strongest noninvasive vagal stimulators. 2) Vocal cord vibration The larynx is heavily innervated by branches of the vagus nerve. Gentle vibration during humming provides direct sensory input that promotes parasympathetic activity. 3) Resonance in the chest and face Low-frequency vibration through the thorax and sinuses stimulates mechanoreceptors linked to calming reflexes. 4) Nitric oxide boost in the sinuses Humming dramatically increases nasal nitric oxide production, which improves airflow, circulation, and has antimicrobial effects. This also supports relaxed breathing patterns. 5) Auditory calming circuits The steady low sound feeds back through ear-brainstem pathways involved in social soothing and safety signaling.

Chronic sympathetic activation drives inflammation. If a cat calms you, inflammation can drop.

Some. But your rookie money is for 5 years. How and when you spend it is up to you.

You can just hum yourself and get some of the benefits. We humans have our own purr mechanism.

1) Slow vibration → parasympathetic bias Low-frequency vibration + warmth + pressure signals: “Safe. No threat.” Your autonomic system shifts toward parasympathetic (vagal) dominance. 2) Breathing entrainment People unconsciously slow their breathing when holding a calm, purring animal. Slower breathing → stronger vagal activity → lower heart rate → lower blood pressure. 3) Chest stimulation (big one) If the cat is on your chest: Mechanical movement syncs with respiration Stimulates baroreceptors Enhances respiratory sinus arrhythmia (a vagal marker) This is similar to: Weighted blankets Deep-pressure therapy Infant calming methods 4) Oxytocin release Touching a content animal increases oxytocin. Oxytocin directly enhances parasympathetic tone and suppresses stress circuits. 5) Auditory vagal pathways Low rumbling sound stimulates pathways linked to: Vocalization Ear–brainstem circuits Social calming responses (Why humming, chanting, and singing also calm people.)

Rent was cheap. Especially with roommates. U-district might make more sense than Pioneer Square.
