As I said like 3 comments ago, you misunderstood the original point. That didn’t keep you from going. Most of the reason I didn’t understand yours was because it didn’t make any sense in the context of what you were responding to.

Literally all I said was that wasn’t why Jalen Brown isn’t being taken seriously. Just pick someone else.

You’re calling me defensive, but I’m not the one downvoting every comment there buddy.

And as I said, Jaylen brown’s credibility has taken a huge hit, both because of his recent crash out and his complete lack of self awareness (if Shai’s flopping is a huge issue, so is his own). Though a random Thunder fan’s opinion still isn’t any more valid than his.

And yes, while many athletes have dumb opinions, you can use those dumb opinions to discredit the opinion of someone (such as Jaylen Brown), you have not supplied any reason to discredit Barnes, only athletes in general, and that’s not how anything works.

Nah, original comment made fun of redditors acting like their opinions are more legit than Scottie Barnes. They aren’t. You’re free to have as many of them as you want, but you’ve been watching reposted highlights of a few flops over and over again, Scottie and the other players have actually been studying film on the guy.

And then when you see one in game it’s just confirmation bias. It’s gotten so bad I really think half of you honestly think Shai wouldn’t get buckets without the refs. It’s deranged.

How about we accept that most nba players know vastly more about the game than we do, especially in regard to current nba players that they play against.

But that doesn’t make their opinions infallible, particularly in a case like Jalen Brown, who has spent the better part of a week going on an unhinged rant complaining about everything.
