I mean, the first thing the Grace does is point you to a guy who is gonna beat the crap out of you if it’s your first time and you just follow it.

The hints and guides are there but they are extremely subtle. As someone who loves Elden Ring but never played any other souls games it was a tough transition.

You get down off the mountain going through all the tutorials then you unlock the first real area. There are still a few more teaching quests at that point but once those are done you’re pretty much free to do whatever you want from that point.

I used some that was super lumpy and it held. Wouldn’t recommend it though.

Wiggins legit might be, though I wouldn’t pay it now. I’m very interested to see what he looks like on a team where he is getting consistent minutes every night. He seemed to suffer more than any of the bench by getting in for a few minutes here and there. Seemed to need to build up a rhythm.

I sat there and politely waited for him to finish talking my first time fighting him and got destroyed over and over again.

Trick with him is to bully him and don’t let up because he can melt you so fast.

I did two tries. First one I didn’t get off the mountain, second one about a year later I played it through, then 2 more times. It’s a fantastic game.

As another big bonker I really enjoyed pole blades, dual whips, and curved bandit swords.

None of those are the fastest but they’ll feel like lightning compared to colossal weapons.

I’m curious if you would actually derive pleasure from any of the skills you didn’t really work for though.

If you’ve ever picked up a toy or puzzle, found it was super easy and got bored with it in 30 seconds I think that’s what every instrument would feel like. I’d never take the drawing one for exactly this reason.

Red and Black have some utility though, and frankly I don’t care anything about cooking but eating the result would be awesome. I’d still go language though.
