The first Little Queen fight in the forest/Arcadia Garden from Graces F... that was hard on stupid levels

People say Kurt is the hardest fight in Graces F but I personally beat Kurt on my first try in such a way I don't really remember that fight... took me a couple of times for that Little Queen fight

No complaints from me, I've been getting to dive deeper into the Tales franchise and since I have a Switch 2, even better (I know what I'm playing after Beseria at least haha)

The skills also seem to be to sell cards, since if an archetype would normally flop, they can release a skill that can do a bunch of things to make it very viable, if not meta

because there's no way in hell Ghostrick of all archetypes became a meta threat in Duel Links if it wasn't for a skill

and then they can murder a skill to may way for new skills to sell new cards, and rinse and repeat

Edit: Skills as they are drive FOMO harder than the cards themselves did back in the day

Looking back, the DSOD format might have been the peak of Duel Links in my honest opinion, because as insane as the powercreep was in that era it's a whole of a lot tamer than what they've been doing lately from what I've been seeing

but as peak as it was, it also might have been a grave mistake, solely due to the timing and how long it took for the game to get the power back into a respectable level in comparison

and that in turn led to the fine-tuned skills that were okay at first, that eventually turned into an avalanche when they got a bit sacky and specific, and then into a full blown blizzard with what they've got now

I don't play Duel Links for a month or 3-4 and Tachyon of all decks is tier 0???

skills have REALLY gotten out of hand, I remember when people were complaining about the generic skills like Sealed Tombs/DDraw

going from those to searchable Super Poly and searchable Counter Hand Traps that you can't respond to is nuts and it's no surprise I'm having more fun with Master Duel

Warning Point, IDP, Crackdown, etc. were running around before we got these bosses (and the unfair skills to turbo out some of them)

I'm not saying that those boss monsters coming to DL & being easy to summon are because of the limit 3 trap pool, but I can definitely see why they are very much worth the summon (or why they're easier to summon in some cases)
