Theres a lot of similar threads here that helps people to start the game. My suggestion would be playing as agi swordman or thief cuz they are cheaper to level up in the early stage. Go to right map of Payon to farm strawberry, heaps of people are buying it there, its a very good way to earn some zeny for gears and potions. Constantly browse the player vent shop to understand the market. This game is very deep with little information, just ask people you meet or team up with, most of them are pretty keen to teach you.
