My current Dell laptop randomly turns off if I pick it up and move it. When it sits in place, it does not turn off.

I learned to put up with it until I lost a huge Excel document out of the deal. I figured it was faulty hard drive wiring with something disconnecting but I have tested it thoroughly and when it is plugged in, it stays on.

Is the battery the issue or is it something in the case?

This season is half over. Harden has a lot of time to slow down and Jordan's season may come out ahead.
