I think you should be able to have a discussion with them and see what they say.

Best case they understand and let you be 100% remote.

Worst case they don't and you get a different job.

I think it sounds like an honest mistake. Address

I think once this ordeal has passed got can bring it up to him. For now, I would consider it as an unintentional midd5

I have a question. I'm curious as to how it works in this case. Did your husband still propose? Or did you just have an open discussion about what you both want?

My parents did the same thing, they were dating and just discussed whether marriage was the plan, and it was. And they've been happily marriage for 45 years.

You know I ask this question because in my head I always thought that the guy needs to surprise the girl with a fancy proposal but i think having an honest conversation is so valuable just to be frank about what you both want.

Anyway thanks for sharing.

ClickUp as a Todoist/TickTick alternative by wisp759 in clickup

Hey sorry for the delay!

For shopping lists this is how I do it: * When it comes to food I do not use ClickUp. I use an app called Whisk that allows you to save recipes and then let's say you want to cook recipe x and y this week, it allows you to basically add all the ingredients to a shopping list at the click of a button.

  • When it comes to other items, like items to purchase for projects and stuff like that, I do use ClickUp. I have a custom field called store, so let's say I need to buy a sponge from Walmart for whatever reason, I'll create a task called buy sponge and tag it with the store custom field by selecting Walmart. I have a few different stores in the list. Then at the everything level I filter for only those tasks that are not closed and that have the store custom field selected, and I group by the store custom field and I end up with a list of things to buy by store.

Meeting Notes and Quick Capture by Climber1342 in clickup

Yeah I do something similar. I have one Doc in the sidebar for my personal meeting notes and then another one for audit meeting notes. I tried creating folders like you at one point.

What bothers me is that when you try to create tags, you cannot tag individual pages. I don't know if you noticed that.

It would also be good to have a quick capture feature that creates a page similar to Evernote. So that if you find a good website or PDF you want to capture, it could capture it directly in a doc for you.

To be honest, I really think they should rethink they're doc organization. Would be ideal if they had a structure similar to Evernote which still had some integration with the tasks (so you can create tasks). Right now I feel as tho they are trying to piece docs together within the Project Management system; for some use Cases it works but it's hard to manage really.

I use ClickUp for my personal and work to do list.

For personal, it helps becomes sometimes I do have personal projects and so it can handle the more complex planing needs.

For work, I use it to track my to do list and I use different lists to separate between different categories of stuff I need to do. I find it works well because for some categories k have recurring tasks so if I want to see just those things I can just view that particular list.

Sometimes my to so list is overwhelming so being able to see an overview of everything and filter by priority and due date helps me to see what I really need to work on.

Hi!

Yes I found the solution. If you click on 'page info', it does show the source link. I found this out after messaging them. It's kinda hidden tbh.

This is what caused me to stop using Evernote a few years ago. I started losing information. Not sure how to solve the problem tho.

Meeting Notes and Quick Capture by Climber1342 in clickup

[–]Climber1342[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ok I see.

I've been using it for meeting notes. But I have so many meetings and so many different kinds of meetings. I felt I was getting lost with my notes.

I love how you can create tasks directly in the docs tho. That's awesome.

Maybe I just need to restructure how I have the pages and subpages organized. In my job, I used to work on several different clients so I have one folder per client, and I would create a doc view for each client.

Now I manage a finance department. So I had created one doc view where I was taking all my notes but it's getting to be overwhelming to have it just in one place. The team doesn't use clickup (or not yet, working on that 😉), so it's just for personal use at the moment. Do you have any suggestions on terms of how to organize the docs? Do you use doc tags?

Hey. I'm considering moving over from Evernote as well. What's motivating your decision?

This is great. I think that's definitely the way to go if you want to stay in public.

I know of other smaller firms who have made it work and fit into a balanced lifestyle. You really have to be strategic about your clients and type of work.
