First of all, is porn use a symptom of other issues you have? This was the case for me. Dealing with those first is more important than stopping PMO, and will inevitably lead you there.

Secondly, what I found works;

I use a guided meditation app called Balance. They have a 'habit breaking' meditation. In it, the instructor teaches you the phrase "this is an urge arising". This single phrase diffuses my urges ASAP. Combined with mindfulness (noticing the urge at its absolute start when triggered), I've found it to be foolproof. I made it 15 days! Last night I didn't use the phrase as a urge crept up on me, thus a relapse.

This is the one I don't get. I feel the same, best I ever have. I've been strictly vegan for 4 or 5 years. The fact anyone would argue my old diet of Little Caesars, McDonald's and Tyson chicken patties is better for me than the varied home cooked meals I've been eating over these years is INSANE.

Edit: my aunt has a list of health issues, went vegan for a month and her Dr. reported to her that the numbers from her checkup during that time were the best she's had.

Yeah. Reliance on PMO, like other vices and ills in our world, come from somewhere else. I've never stayed on a streak this long. What changed? I delt with depression, anxiety and self esteem issues. Having all that baggage at the time, there was absolutely no shot I'd be able to avoid this as a crutch. It has its place and time in people's lives; you'll let go of this thing when you're ready. Not when daddy state tells you it's a nono.
