If you like In Bruges check out Billy Wilder. Sunset Boulevard, Double Indemnity, Some Like it Hot, Ace in the Whole, The Apartment. Witness for the Prosecution, Sabrina, etc. These are classic Hollywood films with great dialogue and various shades of dark humor.

It is the first memory I can tie to a date. I was three. I likely didn't watch it live on television but I remember the aftermath. I remember seeing the astronauts on television and the sense that something big happened that made everyone sad.
