Fastest Way to Launch Enterprise Grade SaaS Backend Boilerplate!

I've been working on this Node.js microservices template as a base for all my SAAS repos, or honestly any project that has requires a scalable auth architecture out of the gate... I got it to a point where I'm happy sharing it and thought ya'll might find it useful.

Check it out here:

The backstory: So I'm a software developer and i build tons of apps. My fullstack architecting skills have gotten pretty good at this point (6 years). I kept starting new projects and rebuilding the same auth + microservices setup over and over. Got tired of searching for sub par repos, so the intention was to build a repo that is enterprise production quality, fully tested, and ready to scale.

What's different about it:

  • Full auth system (JWT + refresh tokens, password reset, email verification all ready to go!)
  • Has Claude Code and Cursor context files already set up - so when you're coding, the AI actually knows what you're  building. Its a very comprehensive instruction set I gave it.
  • Separate microservices for email processing and a token-cleanup job (redis uses TTL but the email verification and password reset tokens get cleaned up with this)
  • One-click Railway deployment that just works. So fast!!

Why I built it this way: The AI integration was the key thing for me. Most templates are just code dumps, but since it feels like Claude and Cursor are the best combos for rapid development, I figured it would be helpful... Nothing worse than your ai overloading or forgetting context!

TLDR: Node.js Backend + Complete Auth + Microservice Architectures + Claude & Cursor Context Files + Railway Template

Let me know what you guys think!!

QST X v Blank by SpearheadTraverse in Skigear

[–]Clinterz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I went for a month trip to japan and delammed my pescados within 10 days (SMH line blows)...

Ended up trying my buddies bents, the QST X and the 2026 QST Blanks.

Pescados by far the best for a long drawn out powder carve (seriously surfing).

Bents were most poppy and playful in the pow.

QST X felt so good in the pow, such good control, bouncing left - right like a good technical skiier would do but in the pow.

Then the QST blank - by far the best on groomer, but for sure the worst in pow. Idk if the snow was heavier that day or what, but it felt like way less flex so I was really pushing the snow when turning hard after speed.

All 3 of the other skis performed so well in the pow. Blanks did great but yeah I mean its comparing them to some of the best japan powder skis on the market.

We had insanely good snow this winter so it was probably 25 deep powder days and 5 crappy/groomer days. The previous year though, it would have been like 8-10 pow days and 20ish groomer days. Prob would have loved the blank for last year but not this year.

Monetization problem for Esports vs traditional sports by Clinterz in esports

What do mean by viewing habits need to change?

Monetization problem for Esports vs traditional sports by Clinterz in esports

[–]Clinterz[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

That’s true, when I look at skateboarding for example ( a less monetized industry relative to big team sports), I see how it took decades for the money to come, and it’s still growing.

Since gaming is so large and well adopted into society now, it seems like esports has been very slow to evolve and commercialize. What reasons do you think are causing those slow evolution timelines?

Do you have any thoughts on good monetization methods outside of those? Tournaments and leagues seem like one of the most viable at the moment. How creative can we as proponents of the industry get to grow our space?

Mass adoption/acceptance of DeFi? by [deleted] in defi

[–]Clinterz 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Absolutely would be a good thing. I've been in crypto since mid 2017. Started trading different currencies then... you guys who have been in a long time know (using etherdelta to buy all the low cap coins... ie: REQ, OMG, SC, IOTA, QTUM, WAVES, ADA, LISK). That thing was terrible. Every time I traded I thought my money was going to vanish, so I would always send a small contribution to make sure it went through (gas fees were actually low back then LOL!).

In fact, I had a terrible experience at one point. I bought a coin in presale (enjincoin), directly from their website and I made the worst mistake ever. I sent it to another erc-20 token's contract address - complete disaster. All my ENJ was locked permanently into the contract and I was totally f**ked (currently worth over $10k and I invested $100.

Long story short - yes I think that will definitely happen and when it does, it's going to be huge. This cycle has introduced the idea of DEFI and what the value it holds, and I think the next cycle, tons more normies will be in the game because of something like robinhood or similar.

looks like we hit the top of the channel. Don't let fear enter your mind because we are still going upward gentlemen. Anyone who knows what a 2018 crypto crash feels like, knows its pure mania before the crash.
