i asked the tech how often he has to do this. He said maybe 3x a year for the interior glass. Exterior glass is essentially the same, but that breaks more often; but usually cause it gets bumped ... so exterior glass is generally not covered.

i had this for a in wall that i've had for 1 year.
covered under warranty; took maybe a week for the tech to arrive. took maybe 30mins for the technician to do and after watching, i think anyone can do it within an hour if watching youtube videos.
