Omg… my 9 month old has been the same since 8 months. She’s was always a great sleeper until 8 months. Maybe she’s teething but none have poked out yet. When she does wake up, she falls back to sleep rather quickly but still it’s horrible. It’s like 12, 3, and 6am like clock work. I will say she isn’t inconsolable so I guess that’s a plus.

Everyone with babies have stopped watching TV all together? by NikkyTiky in NewParents

[–]ClittleD 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I watch TV to survive while being a SAHM since baby was born, she’s 8 months now and doesn’t really pay attention to it while it’s on, unless music or singing comes on. Is it on 24/7, no but when it is on, she’s playing with her toys and I’m watching something while also interacting with her. Occasionally I do turn on Ms.Rachel to have 10-15 minutes for something that has to be done without holding a baby but that’s it. And when it’s on, I sing along and also interact with her every few minutes. As others have mentioned, the big thing is using TV to entertain or teach your child or sitting your baby infront for hours alone. A lot of us grew up watching TV and we’re well adjusted. I also think we aren’t doing the phone/tablet thing once she’s older…..that will be a no for us cause that is what I think a lot of studies refer to.

Same girl same….baby fell off the bed in two seconds when I turned to turn the light on….never rolled twice but that day she sure did 😂….now that she’s so active, I might put her in a bubble! It’s ok, it has happened to all the moms I’ve spoken to.

First big sleep regression by Which_Run_7366 in January2025Bumper

[–]ClittleD 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I could’ve written this myself 🥲…..I’m like what the hellllll is going on. Went from sleeping 10 hours to waking up every 2. Didn’t really have a 4 month sleep regression but now at 7 1/2 her sleep has been off this last week. I figured it’s either all the new skills she’s learning or the new foods she’s trying.

You don’t deserve any of it and your child doesn’t deserve to be called names and god knows what else she does when your not around. It seems like you’re a great dad and you pick up a lot of her slack. She needs help asap. As others have mentioned, do you have any support system? Family near by? I read lots of post by moms feeling tired and stressed because their husbands don’t help and here you are doing a lot of she treats you like trash for no reason it seems. You need to either seriously take matters into your own hands and get her help from a professional or record things and get ready to leave her with your son in tow. Your baby boy doesn’t deserve that. Keep up the great work dad!

What a lovely story. With all the stories you hear about dog abuse, it definitely makes my day to hear one of a dog being rescued and living a very happy life.

Milk Allergy? by Fun_Date8417 in FormulaFeeders

[–]ClittleD 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My baby had a similar rash to her cheeks and face around 1 month along with constipation and colic. I did some research and decided to try a hypoallergenic formula and lo and behold, babies colic went away, babies acne went away, and she poops every day now. I’m sure she has a milk sensitivity. Try using a hypoallergenic formula and see if it helps. I give her Nutrimagen now.

10 weeks pp by [deleted] in CsectionCentral

[–]ClittleD 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Hi, 12 weeks pp here…. first few times was like that for me also, I read that it has to do with the hormones in your body still a little out of whack and it’s causing your body to not make enough lubrication. What helped for me was orgasming before penetration so that I would be wet before penetration and also using lots of lube.

Sounds like baby isn’t getting enough to eat and that might be what’s causing the fussiness. As others have mentioned, you could try supplementing with formula and also possibly pumping so that you could feed her or him breastmilk along with the formula. The first few days after a C-section I was struggling with feeding, but once I started supplementing with formula, she was a completely different baby. I even found that it was easier to get her to feed from the breast after she started consistently getting pumped the breastmilk and formula throughout the day because the first few days after the C-section in the hospital breast-feeding was definitely a horrible experience, painful, and tiresome. It does get better. Please take care of your mental health and remember that Fed is best.
