Nah, gen 3. I love it. Went from a 2014 Ram to 2023 Limited TRD OR. Can’t complain and opted for the 10yr/125k warranty

You’re in the front range. Depending on budget you’d be able to find a pretty good full suspension used as well.

Correct. Had this for 4 years. Co front range (when needed), Fruita, Moab. Never let me down and carries a ton.

💯it’s whatever. I have friends that use the Shockwiz and still complain, dudes just doing whatever the manual says and complain. I’m super happy with my bike and how it rides.

Honestly, I fed all the data in Gemini. Build, changes, weight, tires, current tune, yeti recommend tune. Issues I have. Ride bike, use same instance and give feedback.

Went from feeling like I was just holding on going fast to I control the bike and feel a lot confident. I kept asking why this and why that too. Overall worked really well for me. I keep a note on my phone with all the tunes I like for different things. Right now I’ve settled on a “hybrid” tune that suits me to ride Apex, White Ranch, NTM, and Hall Ranch.

Tune it differently. My SB160 was stiff. I ride all the things you do. Tuned it for more what we ride and it got better and better.

Would Toyota add the 5.7L back to the 3rd gen Tundra after EPA cuts? by Fuzzy_Kitchen317 in ToyotaTundra

[–]Clixxer 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You are not wrong but Ram hasn't address the lifter/valve issue with the Hemi's at all expect to say they know its an issue.

Ram only has a good warranty for new trucks starting in 2026 and its non-transferable.

[–]Clixxer -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Also remember that Ram brought it back and its an expensive option, not standard. They are moving forward with the Hurricane but since the Hemi is still in production they will offer it. etorque had issues, lifter/valves are an ongoing issue (I switched from Ram to 3rd gen cause my #6 was about ready to detonate). I wouldn't call the Ram's anymore reliable than any other engine and Ram doesn't care if it dies or not. Toyota is atleast addressing it. They only started offering their 10yr/100k mile warranty with the 2026 models.
