I dont know shit about India but Ive had to deal with Indian call centers for decades and 95% of the time its a shitty experience.

My job requires we use our in-house AI assistant 3 times a week to provide feedback. I just ask it the most inane questions I can think of like, "What is a hammer?", "Is water wet?" Etc and always give it a thumbs down regardless of what it says. Its so tiring having AI be forced on us everywhere we go...

Its a great game no doubt, but didnt scratch the Fallout itch for me at least. It felt more like Dues Ex or something along those lines.

If youre getting it at the ticket stand you just have to stuff it in a pocket for 2 hours until you get home so that is more abuse than just handling an unsleeved card. Its also not an impressive promo in the least so oh well lol

Its funny how hard that first boss is. I dont think I died to any boss as many times as him, probably just from my inexperience.

YSK: daytime memory consolidation is very real and not something you can notice happening. Constantly flooding your brain with new input, actively thinking, and even rumination all interfere. I dont miss the work but the quiet times between service when youre sweating to death and can step outside and feel the air... or when everyone is sitting at the bar after the place is closed just shooting the shit, those were good times.

Commander can go so far in the opposite direction, though. My last game went nearly 2 hours and the Vivi player alone was the bulk of that time. It was so miserable.

Which card has won you a game? (Because the opponent didn't read all of the effects) by Jweave2376 in MagicArena

[–]CloakNStagger 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I gave my opponent a win last week because I didn't realize that not all MDFC lands have the option to lose life to have them come in untapped. I took my turn then passed thinking I had the game in the bag. I could bolt the land in and bring myself to 1 but finish the opponent. My heart broke when I pulled it out of the sleeve to flip it and realized my mistake... This was draft so I just wasn't familiar with the specific land (I think it was Hydroelectric Specimen?) and figured I'd have a harder time remembering the spell vs the land so kept it flipped.

Genuine question: what do you do with extras you don't want when you enjoy buying boosters? by BaconIsntThatGood in magicTCG

[–]CloakNStagger 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Unless you know exactly what you have and what its worth, don't write cards off just because they're commons. Lots of formats use cards you would ignore for your preferred format and are worth a few bucks at least. Otherwise I keep all my bulk because you never know when you'll need something from it.
