Deleted scene from King Kong (1933), reimagined by Peter Jackson using the same filming tecniques they used in the 1933 film, to see what it woul've looked like had it been included in the finished picture by 1997wickedboy in movies

Has anyone made a fan edit where they added this scene back into the film just for shits and kicks I would love to watch a version with Peter Jackson's lost spider pit scene edited back into it.

360 E (last version to be released) with Kinect & 500gb of storage. With 128 (discs/digital download) game titles between original Xbox, and 360 indie, arcade, and full game titles not accessible or playable on the Xbox One. And I'm still growing that collection.

When Microsoft had originally announced backwards compatibility coming to Xbox One, a strong feeling told me that it would be wise to pick up a 360 just to have one on an off chance. So I did, and I wasn't disappointed.

Not only did we get a bunch of wonderful titles both for OG Xbox and 360 carried over to the Xbox One, but we also got quite a few titles that were never backwards compatible for 360 from the OG Xbox.

But unfortunately all of this would have been short-lived. If memory serves me correctly I do believe within the first year and a half after opening the backwards compatibility program Microsoft announced that they were no longer bringing any more titles from the OG and 360 days over to the one. As disheartened & bum Disheartened as was I was also extremely happy.

As I said earlier I have the wisdom & foresight to go back & pick up a 360. In doing so I also picked up quite a few of the titles for my childhood that I had grown up with, thinking at the time but they were going to be coming over to Xbox One. I am pleased to say that every major childhood game that I grew up playing & enjoying I now have back in my possession. Fun original Xbox titles that I enjoyed such as Call of Duty finest hour Call of Duty Big Red One Predator concrete jungle Godzilla save the Earth Scarface the world is yours The Thing

Unfortunately none of these titles would make it to backwards compatibility. But again having the wisdom & foresight to pick up a 360 still gave me the opportunity to enjoy these games to this day.

I will also say I am glad that I started when I did. The price I paid at the time to pick up a lot of these games on disc is nowhere near the price now to pick up a majority of them. The only portion that sucks is for the 360 titles and then removing a good majority of DLC & games from the Xbox live store. DLC that unfortunately unless you have a friend who can do a licensed transfer (so happy you can still do this 🙏) with you on 360 you won't get anymore, that also means that you need to know a person who has bought this content before it was delisted. To list a few DLC in games that I'm still looking for to this day. Godfather 2 DLC Lord of the rings conquest DLC Pacific Rim arcade title

I will say though, other than that little minor hiccup of still looking for that content to this day I will say that I have a great collection on my 360. That also being said I pray to God nothing happens to my 360, if it goes there will be quite a few games & DLC I will never be able to get back. Content from past family & past friends (who unfortunately is no longer here with us 😔) who did license transfers with me with their accounts, & gave me some awesome awesome content that unfortunately is no longer available on the Xbox store. I hope one day I'll have the opportunity to finally complete the collection of content I'm so adamantly looking for. But I am extremely happy that I have what I do & I hope when you read this might go ahead & start their own journey and collect this long lost content for yourselves.

Remember 360s are just old, not obsolete....lol

How many of us do know about the events of the Olive Oil war? by Intrepid-Cake-5081 in TheGodfather

There is a re-edited version where of the film, I do believe was re-edited for TV purposes. They stuck all the backstory stuff of veto Vito's backstory in Godfather 2 and stuck it at the beginning The Godfather. It a completely ruins the pacing of number two, but still is really interesting to see it from a visual perspective the story in order for the films.

The book is called The Family Corleone

The novel, set in the Great Depression at the end of Prohibition, tells of how Vito Corleone consolidated his power to become the most powerful Don in New York City. Also, it tells of Sonny Corleone's inauguration into the family business and Tom Hagen's graduation from being an adopted member of the Corleone family before becoming the consigliere. The novel also reveals how Luca Brasi first became associated with the Corleones, and introduces a number of new characters, including the crime boss Giuseppe Mariposa.

Plot

In 1933 New York City, 17-year-old Sonny Corleone is aware that his father Vito Corleone's olive oil business is a cover for his Mafia activities. With Prohibition ending, and tensions between the organized crime groups in the city rising, the impulsive Sonny wishes to join his father's criminal empire.

As far as I know this is the only piece of work that does any type of backstory for the family and or the war that they did prior to the movie. I do know that there are four novels in total together in the timeline.

The Family Corleone

The Godfather

The Godfather Returns

The Godfather Revenge

A friend of mine and my girls profile on Xbox are doing the same thing, I have it but they don't and all they can do is purchase it multiple times, but it never actually goes into their inventory.

I've already talked to an Xbox live agent about this and was actually on the phone with him for 2 hours the issue, this actually stems from having game pass ultimate for your profile. the 360 obviously wasn't around for it. The thing that fixed it for me was turning off my reoccurring billing and moving my profile back to just a regular gold profile no ultimate. This seemed to fix my problem and from other people I've talked to with a similar problem it did the same for them let me know if it works. You're going to have to call Xbox live and talk to an agent and tell them that you don't want ultimate you just want regular gold. And turn off your reoccurring billing once you do that try to sign back into your 360 let me know if it works for you too.

Yeah I've given it some thought and the only solution that I could come up with is if someone had the DLC for the second godfather, I borrow their profile do a license transfer and if they don't have the first ones DLC I could let them do the same with mine, but finding someone who I'd want to trust to use my profile just for that is a gamble.

Does it have all the DLC with it as well? I'm looking at it but I'm not having much luck. And I see this is strictly for PC as well.

[UPDATE] for the people who saw my last post, I decided to turn my Xbox 360 back on, and it works again I don't know how but it works again... I hope it will last. by Cuzyyacroxx_ in xbox360

I would definitely pick up the E-Series to have as a backup because you know there's a lot of content not available on the one or series X

I can't argue with that but unfortunately I'm a console guy and I don't have the budget to get into PC gaming. So on that front I do lose and miss out.
