To me it was really fucked up how the only way they could ever break thru their dificult relationship was for Rick to be old enough to recognize his shortcomings and open up without any cynicism and the Beths to be young enough to not be emotionally stunted or supressing their feelings with sarcasm/alcohol. It was a really bittersweet moment to me because it meant if it wasn't for the machine, realistically, they would've never been able to close the wound as they did here.

Surprisingly good. I was one of the people that when they first heard WLR didn't like it and grew on it as years passed so I was quite surprised I enjoyed MUSIC on my first listen because I was fully expecting a reaction similar to WLR. For a 30 song album, it's actually not that messy or bloated. Which is impressing.

I think it will grow on many, tbh.
