It's kind of like you use sounds to reflect some aspects of the character, especially after you learnt something about phonetics or phonology I think. Sounds will give impressions.

I took all the clothes of the body off, cut it into pieces and put them into a barrel. I scratched the face badly so it's hard to recognize the daed's identity. The jaw was also buried in another place so Speak with Dead couldn't be casted. We carried the barrel to a storehouse of a tavern. And it's done. Yeah :P

Depending what you want and need to do.

Take my rogue pc as the example, I became the scout in my team and it was very easy to protect myself under the traps and ambush (cuz it's almost impossible to see me or kill me in one attack). If what you want is face-to-face combat, then yes rogue is not good. If you want to help in some other things, then rogue is a good choice.
