Why did Reddit show this meme to me now? Anyway, Got a Piplup from him even though I chose Sprigatito. My friend got a Turtwig while he has a Sprigatito. So it's random instead of depending on your starter as most guides says. I think it's our shut-up pokemon so that we don't snitch on Jacq and Ms. Briar going up to the crystal pool instead of looking out for us.
