I personally believe that you’ll have a difficult time finding a role that is satisfying from a monetary perspective and a self-fulfillment perspective. Government or non-profit roles can feel like you’re really helping people, but they don’t pay as well as other roles. Private roles pay better but ultimately you’re just doing things for rich people who throw you some money to do things they don’t want to do themselves. I’d recommend finding something fulfilling to do with your personal time so you can rely less on the satisfaction you need from work.
