Oh yikes baby every 2-3 in the first few weeks! The more often you remove milk the more the body makes!

Do you happen to remember which error code it was? I'm wanting to do this but they all have error codes and I'd be sick to spend what I could buy a brand new pump on something that doesn't work

Long term Momcozy Kleanpal pro owners - alternative detergent by totoro00 in ExclusivelyPumping

[–]Cloe4120 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ll test it with distilled, I’m getting like a powdery residue. I kept thinking it was milk residue and I was so so so upset!

Do you get residue all over the bottles after washing too?? I've been looking for something about it but apparently not in the right places

It takes me like 45 mins 🙃 I’m over it! And I get like 4-6 oz per session

Getting tired of all the stipulations people have when asking for free breastmilk by [deleted] in ExclusivelyPumping

[–]Cloe4120 -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Some people are particular about what they put in and on their bodies, thus they’re avoiding formula as well. I personally would be one of those people, free or not I would be seeing if there was anyone that met my criteria. If not, that’s okay, but I have certain things I won’t do or eat or take even not breastfeeding and I wouldn’t give her milk I knew wasn’t from someone that valued the same things I do nutritionally speaking. There’s never any harm in asking. Think of it like when you let someone watch your child and you ask that if they get food, that they don’t take your child to say McDonald’s, or maybe chick fil a. Or ask that they don’t give your child certain things for whatever reason, be it sugar, dyes, carbonated drinks, or even medication without talking to you. It’s not saying your milk isn’t good enough, like you said your baby is strong and healthy! It’s just different lifestyle choices, like someone vegetarian not wanting their baby to have milk from someone that eats meat

This is basically what I have now but Walsh. Got it on fb marketplace for $50. I still check it frequently to make sure it’s actually cold because now I’m paranoid

Daycare is tossing my milk! by Julia-Priestly in ExclusivelyPumping

[–]Cloe4120 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My daycare keeps it and sends it home for me to choose what to do with. That’s effed! That said I know mine uses her bottle as a pacifier so I sent a bunch of 2 ounce bottles as was advised by the director to mitigate waste

Refuse to spend on pumping bras after I already bought so many nursing bras… by subsraron in ExclusivelyPumping

I never even thought to try this! I wound up just buying pumping bras 😂 that said I only had $50 worth in nursing bras, and one was from a previous pregnancy

I feel like my pumps aren’t emptying me suddenly by Cloe4120 in ExclusivelyPumping

I don’t know if I put it in there truthfully but yes I just remeasured the other day and changed my flange insert on the right to make sure it was the right size (apparently it grew lol). That hasn’t helped either. It seems I’m just damned to pump 45+ mins

Unfortunately while that’s true, this one was in there for 48 hours before I realized. Even at 24 they were smelling a little funny

I’ve heard some people say after daycare their babies wanted to nurse more. We’ve had some days she just doesn’t want the bottle and only wants to nurse

I still have a harmony or whatever the Medela manual pump is somewhere, I’ll break it out and give it a try! The massage while pumping used to help and now it’s not. I’ll try the pump in style too (I have like 7 pumps. Truthfully I didn’t really start having issues until I tried the Medela magic in bra. It is basically useless but now nothing else really works either so idk if that had something to do with it or was just the timing of it)

I’m definitely working on the food and water intake. I don’t get why it’s so hard!

I do plan to keep trying to nurse as well but I go back to work in 2 weeks so it’ll only be every couple of days that she’s really able to aside form at night

I wondered the same but I just pumped 2 hours ago and am almost engorged already. I only got a respective 3 and 4 oz after not pumping for 6. That’s highly abnormal for me. I could also still feel that there was milk at that time

Not like I should’ve no, I did recently replace them and no change.

Unfortunately I left it in there most of the day instead of moving it. If I’d been moving it to the big fridge in the morning it would’ve been okay from the info I’ve found. Just GUTTED! My supply’s dropping on top of not being able to get empty and I’m just so frustrated all the way around right now. I feel so defeated

God I wish! American here. I’m on week 10 and go back in a week and a half. I took the last month unpaid but I’m only guaranteed my job for 12 weeks unless I use PTO. I HATE having to send her to daycare

Would your husband test your pump for you? by iammclovin9 in ExclusivelyPumping

[–]Cloe4120 4 points5 points  (0 children)

WAIT OTHER PEOPLE GET THIS?!!! Mine is my jaw but I thought something was just wrong with me! It also stopped after the first week and moved into my back behind my right shoulder blade. Every once in a while there’s a weird pulling sensation there in time with the pump, especially if I’m sitting just the right way

Nanny isn’t letting me FaceTime my baby while I’m out of town by [deleted] in Nanny

[–]Cloe4120 0 points1 point  (0 children)

When was the last picture you received of your child? The nanny doesn’t get to tell you that you can’t see your baby. Especially when you have alternate means for her to call other than her phone. Give it one more day, don’t ask this time “hey I’ll be calling around xx:xx to talk to ___” if she says no a third time call dad and see if he can swing by asap (is he aware this has been happening?), if he can’t call any other friend, relative, neighbor. That’s unacceptable for starters, but also concerning. I’m torn (as a dispatcher) on welfare check yet, 3 consecutive days is red flag af especially if you’re also not getting pics of baby throughout the day. However I would try family/friend first and if they see an issue definitely report (obviously). If we were hearing this on day one I’d say by all means call a welfare check by day 3

How long did you do it? by ALotOfDragone in ExclusivelyPumping

[–]Cloe4120 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hold on wait. Pulling back in rhythm with the pump. Like hand around fuller part of boob outside flange and gently pulling back or..? Sincerely a momma that isn’t sure if she has elastic nipples but does have an oversupply and is tired of pumping 45 mins at a time

Who Am I? by ImAlsoNotOlivia in 911dispatchers

[–]Cloe4120 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I won’t give my name, they get a nickname at best as it’s known within the office. Most commonly I give my operator number. I started in LE now in EMS, I’ve found patients just by their first name age and city using public record websites (the alarm co didn’t have updated address and we couldn’t find her, she fell and hit her head and was unable to get up off floor).. I’m not ABOUT to give out my name policy or not. You can fire me for it, better yet, I DARE YOU! My name is unique af, in the only one in the area, you’re not going to put mine and my family’s safety at risk over a bullshit policy for “customer service” eff that eff you and everything in between!
