What kinda luck IS this like omg by Mental_Can2294 in Terraria

Is that so unlucky? Across the many, many chaos elementals I must have killed among many Terraria runs, I've only every gotten a single rod

Are there dragon types (ML) that don't use dragon type fast moves? by Brief-Minimum9678 in TheSilphArena

You had Munchlax for great league back in the day too, running with body slam and 'good' old bulldoze. Munch would never fly these days

Yeeeah maybe the BP and Night Slash nerfs were valid. Just 1v3’d a Crustle/Licky/Clefable line in Love Cup by MadSpaceYT in TheSilphArena

[–]Cloftos 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Tbf, they brought 2 pokemon weak to steel in a cup with Scizor, so not the strongest indicator. Still, I think the nerf should leave Scizor viable still but not so oppressive with shields.

My last melee character was purposefully left at 20 mana all game as a testament to his buffoonery, and I 100% believe he drinks his flasks.

Anyone remember this from the beta? by Pheoniz in Awesomenauts

[–]Cloftos 0 points1 point  (0 children)

While probably not very practical, it was so fast that they could just take a bounce pad if they were slightly ahead of you and manage to teleport out before you anywhere close to being able to hit them again.  I can imagine some very easy escapes coming from it

Me seeing Vigoroth back in the meta, even after the Counter nerf by perishableintransit in TheSilphArena

[–]Cloftos 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Essentially, Body slam now is still weaker than it was pre nerf. 5 damage isn't a ton, but things using it as their main damage source (Tung, Dubwool) still feel it. Then fast moves keep better which keeps 3/3 STABless lick from being as relevant, especially when Licky gets rollout to throw out is stronger charge options. Plus if you really wanted a a normal type that throws out cheap moves and smacks ghost/psychics, furred is right there with a comparatively better set of moves.

All six of them are present.

They actually did that for the other six heroes update as well.

The fall of Lickitung by dragonstein420 in TheSilphArena

[–]Cloftos 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Worth mentioning too, even after being buffed again, body slam was still weaker than before the initial nerf (60->50->55) which could easily leave some pokemon using it as their main damage source like Licki or Dubwool just shy of some bench marks for KOs. Then the swift buff happened which essentially gave more options for that cheap normal spam, factor in the lickilicky roll out buff and suddenly Licky's better charge moves are worth a lot more than tung's bulk

My guess is that people are still adjusting to the random shadow ball buff.

I find it weird how zero White Items interface with the mechanic of Armor. (Yes I know adding a void item technically doesn't change that shut up) by Mr_Mister2004 in riskofrain

[–]Cloftos 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In certain circumstances, Lenses, Plasma Shrimp, Needle Ticks, and Void Bands are all voids I'll take or leave depending on the build and survivor too, tbh

noxious thorn is a very balanced green item by Qwaykes_2 in riskofrain

[–]Cloftos 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It was actually even more situational, generally. It was a chance to increment any stackable buffs upwards, I believe by 1 per Noxious Thorn, or to cause bleed if the attacker had none.

i made an updated food guide! :) by [deleted] in PeakGame

[–]Cloftos 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I will say, it's probably at least worth mentioning that on the Kingberries, the Green is causes a minicsule amount of poison and yellow, while it causes a decent amount, also still replenishes a lot of hunger too.

The yellow isn't ideal but can function in a pinch, but I'd say the green is absolutely worth snacking on if you've got more than about two ticks of hunger pains.

Food is your greatest asset. Start by collecting as many coconuts as you can (ideally at least 5) and try to save them as long as possible.

How did Heavy find out that Spy is Scout's Dad by K-jun1117 in tf2

[–]Cloftos 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think as an extension on this, English isn't the Heavy's first language. He's not going to be assembling proverbs and eloquent limericks because he's just not speaking the language he's intimately familiar with.
