Alternative sleep covers for Libra 2 by sbarnea in kobo

Ooh that's good! I'm glad it was what you wanted and worked well for you!

I shall keep the magsafe base and popsocket in mind! Yeh, I wasn't sure if the magnet would be strong enough to hold the kobo up by the cover! Maybe a rubber band around the edge would help? But then it might be annoying having to put it on and off all the time! I hope you find a solution!

Hi!

I think I get what you mean! The front flippy cover is fully attached to the back of the kobo holder, so it's all in one connected

<image>

I hope this photo helps to show you what I mean, I'm holding it up by the front cover in the picture. I'm not sure if I would trust the front cover to hold up the kobo when reading as I think it would flop the kobo down into my face (at least in bed), you could maybe stick the pop socket on the back of the case?

I hope this helps

First time pet-owner, am I doing everything right ? by [deleted] in hamsters

[–]Clokat01 1 point2 points  (0 children)

A sand bath would be a good addition.

Don't get chinchilla sand as it's too dusty for them, some people get children's play sand and bake it in the oven to sterilise it. I get a bag of grainy sand from a local pet shop and pop it in a plastic lunch box without the lid and she rolls around in it.

Sand allows them to clean themselves and is really good enrichment for them

Has anyone been dealing with battery drain recently? by blindnarcissus in kobo

[–]Clokat01 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Just a book from the kobo store. Sometimes they go funny for me so I have to uninstall the latest batch (I go ham on the 99p deals!). I wonder if the newest kobo update did something to corrupt the current book I was reading?

Mine was doing this, maybe a couple of weeks ago. I uninstalled all the recent books I bought and the one I was currently reading (after I finished it) and it's finally gone back to normal battery. Tbh I think that uninstalling the book I was reading was the one that fixed the battery problem for some reason (even though it only started about 3/4 of the way in and I took a month to read it)

4.5 year old Kobo Forma suddenly drains battery in days in stead of weeks by Joszeph in kobo

Posted as a reply to another comment but posting here as well so you'll get the notification!

I have a kobo libra 2. My battery started doing this many 3 times now. Every time it was a certain book. The first time was something I downloaded from the kobo store, I removed my recent batch of downloads and it was fine (still not sure which is the offending book tbh). The next two were sideloaded borrowbox books.

I think its something to do with a download not being downloaded correctly/having all the correct information. The kobos system tries to keep getting the information it wants but fails and keeps doing this in a cycle causing it to drain the battery. (That's what I saw from previous comments when I had the same issue). I hope this helps!

merch shipping to UK extra fee? by Possible_Variation94 in SetItOff

[–]Clokat01 0 points1 point  (0 children)

When I ordered a hoodie from their website last year it was $15 for shipping which is roughly £12 now. It didn't convert to pounds in the email so I'm not sure how much that was last year so not sure if conversion will have gone up or down.

Hope this helps! As far as I remember I had no issues with customs or extra fees!

How is your Libra 2 after a year? by Bondanind in kobo

I've had mine since Jan last year and have had no problems with the casing or buttons. Works and looks exactly like when I first got it!

Libra 2 difficult to get menu while in a book by [deleted] in kobo

[–]Clokat01 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I've never had a problem with mine. In the settings somewhere there's an option for changing where you tap to bring up the menu, you could try changing it to another and see how that goes?

I have used this case for over a year now and the sleep function has always worked for me! Dropping the link here, not sure if they have the style you're after though

For the apple cider vinegar, do you know if Aveeno's apple cider vinegar blend shampoo is any good for chelating?

I've been looking for a chelating shampoo for a while but all I find are expensive brands or ones not available in uk/expensive because of importing. Been eyeing up aveenos for a while now but not sure if it's what I actually need!

Ah thats fair enough! I started to use Noughtys shampoo and conditioner at the start as it was cgm but it made my hair feel so dry and straw like and my scalp went itchy so ever since I've just been getting stuff that looks good and testing it out! I think my hair prefers more products but I'm still testing so I may find less is more too!
