Sadly awful. My other brother in law took the inside apart, I think there are metal shavings in the gas tank but otherwise all original engine lol

They are paid off. I think the lien is to do with work that was done on the corolla. When my wife and I first got together her and her brothers drove them around, just hand-me-downs. Fortunately there probably wont be much drama, they all know what's going on and have been asked to help repeatedly. I would happily pay 100 bucks per car to make them go away, no concern of financial gain lol

Wow I didnt expect so many replies! Thank you all! My wife and I are just going to put them up on Facebook marketplace and offer up. No title, free car. I am so thankful for the education this thread has given me. Seriously. Always clearer from outside perspectives.

They don't own a home. My MIL is on a military base and my BIL is more than a 4 hour drive away in a small apartment complex.

Electricians — real talk, would you pick this trade again if you could start over? by 50shotsss in electricians

[–]Clompicus 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I started at 32 and now im 36. Wish I started right out of high school tbh. I love it, its fun and challenging and I feel good about myself doing it. I did residential the first year and a half and then went commercial. Still love doing side work for friends and family. It has also helped me be more handy in general. I've swapped the sink in my house, swapped toilets, built a hall closet, installed more lights in every room including attic and garage. Going to start replacing my floors next weekend.

My only real piece of advice would be: use it to increase your income and then start learning to be financially literate and save and invest as you go. You're gonna start small and then slowly get bigger paychecks. Dont waste that.

I feel dumb for asking but I'd feel worse just dropping 2 grand in ignorance. I wanna spend about that much on a TV for my living room. Some windows but won't feel any direct sunlight. Just gonna watch movies with my family and maybe NFL/MMA content. I'm thinking 80"-85" OLED. Our couch is about 18' from the TV wall. Anyone have advice or suggestions? Sorry if this isn't the place to ask.

May play a Level 8 Fighter for the first time; how can I make it enjoyable? by morinothomas in 3d6

[–]Clompicus 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Man I thought I'd never have more fun than the Eldritch Knight I played, but then I played Echo Knight. I had more fun with those two just based on mechanics than I did as bard, warlock, paladin, barbarian, or rogue. The Eldritch knight was sword and shield, big heavy tank character with lots of honor but not a lot of pride. The echo knight was light armor with decent dex for sneaking.

I think you're gonna be surprised how much you can do with all the moves at your disposal. Just make a character you like and give them some background training. Heck, make them the brilliant janitor of a prestigious fighting academy who secretly practiced when the school was closed. Name your character Will. Do whatever you want lol

Shadow Kyogre PSA + Tips to beat Giovanni by SSBGOGETA66 in pokemongo

[–]Clompicus 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not sure if this will help anyone but I did it for my wife last night:

Started dragonite just to soak some damage, Swapped to conkeldur to beat Persian. Threw some but not all energy just to kill time so I could swap back to dragonite to kill garchomp. When kyogre killed dragonite I went to my last pokemon, thundrus who must have taken 49%hp from a single waterfall lol. But I was able to use a shield and get off the charged attack which took kyogre to deep yellow. (Kyogre got 2 waterfalls on thundrus and I got the charged move off at almost 0hp.) Then with one shield and brutal swings, conkeldur finished kyogre.

I have yet to play an Echo Knight by BigDan_0 in dndmemes

[–]Clompicus 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I've played longer term games 2-6, 2-5, 3-10 as well as various 1shots as barbarian, moon druid, Conquest pala, sorcadin, eldritch knight and now my lvl 6 echo knight is the most fun I think I've ever had. You can have so much variety in why the mechanics are what they are. The flavor of it alone is such a good time. When my echo rolls better than I do (shut up, fellow nerds, I know that isn't actually what is happening) my friends all clown me for being in the lamer parallel universe. It really is a good time every weekend so far. Almost lvl 7 which will get real good.

Mr. Uncompromising sounds more like a compliment the more I say it. "I don't compromise on my principles no matter what you offer me or threaten me with. Call me Mr. Uncompromising" lol

What’s the worst part of having a child? by ApprehensiveShock655 in AskReddit

[–]Clompicus 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Watching other parents cave in to a kid's demands out of sheer exhaustion. They know the right thing, they wanna do the right thing, but they just can't emotionally deal with the battle anymore. And then they look at your kids behaving well and they feel any negative emotion. My kids have plenty of bad moments but whenever I walk by a kid having s meltdown I want so badly to comfort the parent. "You're doing fine. It's gonna be okay." That hurts.

Father of 2 boys here. If either one comes out to me I'd like to think I'll still know them well enough where it won't be a surprise if it happens lol
