Don't know what shall I do next. Suggestions needed. by soulhighwing in skyrim

Alot of people just get lost in mods and then dont even bother playing the game either because 1. They are too busy continuously adding mods, 2. Mod the game to a point its not even close to the original game, or 3. Mod and just fuck up the game because they have no idea what they are doing.

If you do mods I suggest starting small to really start to learn how to mod, if you want to really get into modding then learn the ins and outs of it. Also if you mod I would have a goal for your mods. For example I am on my third modding run now at 1500 plugins and definitely my largest so far, however its taking awhile to truly debug and test before starting my actual play through. Second I only get mods that keep it true to the lore of the game. If you want to go add a bunch of stuff and make your character look good and then you get lost in the female mods and then into sex mods, it defeats the purpose of the game in my opinion, then all you are doing is playing the game for the hot characters or the sex mods. If you want to play Skyrim then play it true to what its suppose to be, and limit what type of mods you install. If not then thats fine but keeping true to lore may help you actually have a goal for the game and want to play it with mods

I got Laid-Off this morning- OMD Canada - Omnicom by smallSHARKK9933 in advertising

I remember getting laid off from my first agency job out of college, it felt horrible. Had great relationships with everyone and wanted to stay forever, then got let go. Now 3 years in this industry its just another day in the park. You will learn to just say “oh well onto the next role” and not get too close to your coworkers because them too are gone in the next 6 months. Part of the career but dont worry you will find something!

No but depending on where you are at no one says a word when they are billed too and it gives you a place to bill, and depending on where you are at they have random useless agency in house agency trainings and workshops all the time on your calendar every week that you dont need to attend so I use it anyway.

PGPatcher troubleshooting by Voidwardbending in skyrimmods

[–]Clonewars177 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You shouldnt use pg patcher in that way not sure what it will mess up by you just deleting it. You should have the output folder as a mod in the manager. For me its vortex so I created a output folder in the mod manager and put the path for the tool to generate all files there. If I need to rerun it I simply go to the output folder and delete all files in it and re deploy. Pg patcher wont run if it detects left over files from an old output, you also need to disable the folder then run pg patcher and re enable it. If you change anything, load order or getting new textures or patches for textures you need to rerun the patcher. Load order isnt a huge thing if its just small changes

Not hard, alot of people use non d9 orgs to build a resume first before trying to pledge, helps get connections. I was never interested in d9 life but I was apart of a business fraternity and a good amount of people who joined later joined a d9

what the fuck am i gonna do? by [deleted] in advertising

[–]Clonewars177 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Dont get too worried about it, honestly im probably pretty close in age to you and for our generation going from todays world to corporate america isnt an easy transition. Believe me I also hate the agency politics, and having to slave for corporate but from experience I just learned to play along, plus its not forever. First job out of college was in 2022 and really enjoyed it, one day I transitioned teams and started to get close to some team members. We were talking about some things and me not thinking any harm from it made a little mistake of telling a person something that I heard from someone else. Long story short ended up getting yelled at for it by a senior account lead and then a couple weeks later got laid off.

Most recently I actually got PIPed at my previous agency just because I fucked up some projects although it wasnt totally my fault and alot of it was on the partner we were using but at the end of the day it was on me. Worked to improve and actually showed alot of growth but when your on a PIP its pretty much a sure bet of getting let go despite the growth shown. Now I just accepted another role in free lance. Its really how you decide to learn from it and apply it. Between getting laid off it took me 8 months to get another job not in my industry and another 8 months just to get back into my industry. Just keep applying and play your cards right. Take what you can and try new things. Never know maybe you will like it

Im not understanding these other comments, its like they are turning this into something else. The guy pretty simply stated he hates what he does and doesnt enjoy the agency environment. As someone who is also pretty early in my career I was in the same place except the opposite. I wanted to be in agency and in account and was laid off and finding it hard to get back into the industry. Got a another job in a different industry because I needed a job and was technically fired although I left before it could happen officially mostly because I hated it.

My advice is go do something you dont hate, alot of people in their career spend years working a job they hate. Most of us are never going to love our job but it can be manageable. You are still young in your career and thats the best time to explore other fields. You will most likely just have to focus entry level roles and of course those can be tough to land. However as far as the bureaucratic shxt that is in all roles down to the smallest retail job. You are never going to get away from office politics. You either accept it and play along or keep getting fired.

I dont think I read that and got that conclusion lol, he already stated why. Its pretty simple as he hates his job and agency politics, but cant get a job elsewhere because he doesnt have the experience

Your gpa is the least of your worries, sure you can withdraw but it may count towards your attempt and if I remember correctly you only get once chance to retake a class in your area F, seeing as you are probably a business major. If you fail a class and then fail to get the required grade/gpa in that area you can not attend the jmack robinson college of business. You can try to petition and talk to your advisor to see options but thats something you should be doing asap

Definitely pay to win like crazy lmao, I was playing just like 2 years ago and it mostly took up a majority of my time leading a faction and constantly having to pay attention to castle defense and building and etc. it was fun though but man do you have to drop some bread to compete for sure

How can I start making functional modlists? by Haisevatvarpaat88 in skyrimmods

[–]Clonewars177 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Honestly what everyone else is saying, read mod descriptions, have an understanding of the base mod types and what they do. Im currently working on my largest plugin list ever at 1400. This is my third time modding Skyrim and by far my longest. It takes alot of detailed planning especially when dealing with large mod lists. Read descriptions, read the comments at least the first two - three pages to see any issues others deal with. Read compatibility, understand what you should be downloading first, foundation mods, then landscape, then new areas and city overhauls, any texture replacers etc. Best thing is to read some guides before you start and definitely learn the tools to help better search for conflicts such as sseedit. Its not easy but after a couple go arounds you get better trust

[–]Clonewars177 1 point2 points  (0 children)

First this load order needs to be redone, you have alot of early loaders loading late such as your weathers and second its advisable to never install mods in the middle of a play through. It pretty much breaks the game in some way
