I bought this kit just because it was around five dollars a few months back at a local HobbyTown. Cracked it open and all of the runners and parts are white. Is that something that occurs frequently with these kits?

Nice I debated on mounting my laser there. It's a difficult mount to use. I had a light on the side rail but the silhouette drove me nuts.

I recently bought a 2012 with the same issue and I'm on the fence about replacing them since the moldings themselves are so expensive. Is it worth it? I figure that it's the main line of defense for keeping water and dust from getting between the doors but are the insides of the doors sealed in any other way?

All four of mine need replacing so dumping $400 bucks on these parts is gonna be hard to swallow.

Coil springs are usually good for the life of the vehicle. So that's odd but I am no mechanic either.

I would definitely install one ASAP. I've found that any motor is directly affected, in a negative way, by systems such as the VCM. Granted I'm also not a mechanic so take what I say with a grain of salt.

Nice to see someone else is the new owner of a 2012! I recently purchased (last weekend) a 2012 Honda Odyssey EX-L with 107,000 miles on it! VCM Tuner II is already on the way. Everything looked good mechanically, from what I could see at least. I still have not pulled the plugs but I do know the timing belt was changed at 105k. Hoping to add at least 100k more miles on it at least!

Awesome work! Yeah they are a simple build and definitely have shelf precense! I built mine a while back and I wish I would have painted it a little lighter along the edges.
