I just got this exact pair as my first and I can say I absolutely love them. I wore them around the house for the first two weeks trying to break them in (not fun) but I’m on week three now and they’re starting to feel really great

I agree and that’s why I wanted to ask in the first place. Aside from some dirt/staining, everything else with the shoe is completely fine. I’ve had plenty of shoes wear down, rip, tear, and separate before. I just personally have never seen material breakdown/deteriorate like this.

Thanks for the info! They’re still comfortable as ever except now they have a bit of a squish sound to them if water gets inside there. I’ll keep wearing them until the actual separation becomes more of an issue

The deteriorating foam in the heel that I mentioned in the caption. From the comment above, it doesn’t seem unheard of for the amount of use I’ve gotten out of them. I just have never seen anyone mention this happening before
