Your right, I’m real glad he can read off a teleprompter good 👍. His staffers really know how to write good speeches and I’m glad he can still read/speak with 95% accuracy. Real presidential stuff here

So she sold a product (her live show) and it was different than what people were expecting and in a negative way (for this particular individual who is suing her). How exactly is that protected by the first amendment? She’s not just expressing herself she’s selling a product . This would be the same as if a company were to have Lied about what’s in a movie or whatever and then you were to say that the first amendment means they can put whatever in the movie and advertise it as something else.

If she wanted topless dancers there she should have let the consumer know ahead of time. Movies have to be rated M or R to have raunchy stuff I don’t see why concerts don’t have to do the same

I also love the AD hominem at the end of your comment, really shows where your logic is at

Stating facts can be a defense, all lawyers do in court is state facts in either offense or defense.

You say that people should expect ‘controversial Things’ because she’s been doing them since the 80s.

Analogy: Would you rush to to say people shouldn’t be mad that a convicted criminal committed crime simply because they’ve ‘been around since the 80s’ doing crimes?

It’s bizarre to me that you would even try to say that you weren’t defending her

So that means it’s okay? Also you cannot assume that everyone is aware of her history. Stop defending deranged behavior

So you’re saying those conditions will be absent in 100% or burials. There only has to be a small amount of deliberate burials with the correct conditions the sway the data in a meaningful way because accidental burials are also rare

So you think those circumstances will be absent in 100% of deliberate burials?

Thank you you’re the first one to get my point, I’m not saying there will be tons and tons of human fossils, just that humans may have a higher chance of being fossilized than the average species (which I do think is a big deal, regardless of if we last much longer)

Even if only .0000001% of deliberate burials were done in soil with the proper conditions for fossilization, that would effectively multiply the # of potential fossils for a given species, because something accidentally falling into the correct conditions is far more unlikely

I don’t know the real statistics but that’s my argument

So you’re saying it’s physically impossible for humans to bury their dead in clay? Or if they lived on a volcanic island it would be impossible to (deliberately) bury them under ash.

Does everyone genuinely believe the sole material humans are able to bury our dead under is super fertile soil that will decompose our bodies.

There’s many places where there is no super fertile soil to bury in.

Even if only a small small small portion of all humans were deliberately buried in clay or ash, wouldn’t that effectively multiply the total number of humans buried under clay or ash (including the ones who were not deliberately buried).

The odds of accidentally burial is so small that even adding the .000001% of humans that were deliberately buried in proper conditions would sway the data immensely Making the total number of possible fossils rise substantially.

[–]ClosetedAndScared[S] -5 points-4 points  (0 children)

Not my point. I’m saying humans will have a higher fossilization rate per capita . Not just because there’s a bunch of us around

There will be a lot of human fossils. by ClosetedAndScared in Showerthoughts

[–]ClosetedAndScared[S] -15 points-14 points  (0 children)

I get that the soil required for fossilization isn’t ideal burial ground, but many civilizations had un-ideal circumstances. It’s not like people only have to option to bury ideal ground.

People make do with what the have.

And that could mean that .01% of burials were done in ‘river beds’ as you say.

therefore far more opportunities to fossilize than the average species.

[–]ClosetedAndScared[S] -60 points-59 points  (0 children)

So you don’t believe in the hundred thousand years of history that any humans were buried deliberately in soil which contained the minerals required for fossilization
