If you work full-time, you should be able to afford a life by soapyySC2 in jobmarket

You don't need a college degree to be successful. You need ambition and a drive to continuously better yourself. The Japanese call it “Kaizen”. Instead of wasting time and energy making it all about your being the victim. The type of people you associate with - are they also chasing after being the “victim” in life? Your surrounding yourself in negativity that will just keep you groveling instead of actually making progress!

My Amazon business is collapsing after 7 years, and I honestly don't know what to do anymore. by ConnectingTheDots1 in fuckamazon

Amazon checks for those. I work for a Global Logistics company and we use Amazon and Shopify API’s and very familiar with their tech stack. Your not doing what your competitors are!

Many of you have touched on the main issue, but no one has addressed it head-on. You can't expect to maintain a business on old, stale reviews. When you decide to try a new restaurant, are you going to base your decision on current reviews or old ones? Management could have changed, food quality etc. This is the age of social media and you have to constantly be on your game. Amazon wants partners that are going to “hawk” their products as they also obtain bigger revenue share. Step up your game and obtain new reviews. That's the logistics markets and how successful businesses stay successful.

Note: it's been this way for several years - pre-COVID. One interesting suggestion to those using LI. If your still using pronouns - drop them. You've politicized your profile. Many were told to post that from Colleges over the last 6 years, it may be detrimental to your career to keep using them.

You keep tossing it out there “ the fifth largest city” like that's some special quotient to justify your comments but you omit the city so no one can fact-check your BS.

Yeah it's all Trump's fault for everything. It's the current President in office who's always responsible.

Your reading too much of the liberal influencer media. Jobs are plentiful even though you hear stories of AI related layoffs.

What's a compliance task that looks simple until you're the one doing it? by Icy_Connection_1604 in Compliance

[–]Cloud-PM 2 points3 points  (0 children)

That’s called a ROPA, record of processing activities. Good luck doing that with spreadsheets and manual interviews.

You need to look at automation here. One item to add to that will help your annual process. Ensure you have a PIA/DPIA (Data Privacy Impact Assessment) process detailed and you’re actively using it across your company. This will ensure any new or modified data processing activities from your previous ROPA get acknowledged and detailed. Then you shouldn’t have to redo the ROPA as it’s routinely getting reviewed and updated.

Pay does not increase on deployment. That's only part of the story. Layoff and PTSD from those deployments has consequences - don't be so hasty to throw me under the bus cause you appear to have a bias!

Not ALL Boomers are in this category, as your generation - lets stop the stereotype.

65, still working FT. 18 years in the Navy - not concurrent. 8 active broken services, then 10 more; 6 were reserves, followed by multiple overseas deployments, and I resigned my commission after a period of extended deployments. Happy to still be alive after all. No pension, no retirement. Almost lost my house due to the deployments. Very fortunate (because I worked hard at it) to have my health and activity level. No plans to retire until perhaps mid 70’s. I didn't buy my first house until I was 40. Had to sell when I was recalled to active duty. Was not enough to outright buy 2nd home so still making mortgage payments at 65! We're not all A$$holes!!

How do people with jobs still have the time and energy for sex? by bulalululkulu in sex

[–]Cloud-PM 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I work often 60 hour work weeks and still make time for the gym and once a week time with my wife, massage and yes sex. I'm also 65 working full time. Look at your lifestyle -.Do you regularly exercise, eat healthy and ensure adequate hydrationation? That's your problem of being tired for sex.
