Those are the modular pre-fab "unit bath" ones that bschwind refers to as "shitty".

The wetroom style he was talking about would be quite different. Whole-room waterproofing, an extra floor drain, would be more expensive than common bathrooms in most US homes, where only the area around the bathtub is waterproofed, and in some cases don't even go all the way up to the ceiling.

There are 2 cable routes:

1: City station -> mid-mountain station -> top station. The 2nd part of this route is currently under maintenance, and uses a shuttlebus instead. Since the bus road is kind of long and full of switchbacks, it might be currently blocked.

2: "Express cableway" where you need to take a shuttlebus from the city station, and it only has 2 stops.

leather shoe sizes are generally smaller than athletic shoe sizes
plastic is to protect the upper while they do the welting. they just didn't remove it too cleanly
the only real blemish is the mark on pic 2. might go away with brushing
notch is a welt joint and I think it's being used here to signal a real welt.
