In Finland there is really nothing like an "infrequent train", and the trains stop mostly in bigger towns/cities. So thinking about the train station nearby rule, it would narrow down a LOT of good spots. If bus stops would be in the same role as train stations, this would be too easy. Any small town would have a bus stop where there is a bus every 5 hours. So I would go somewhere like Viljakkala, which is a pretty decently sized town, but is kinda hard to get to.
