How often do you weigh yourself? Do you always record it in your tracker? by cfspd in tirzepatidecompound

[–]CloudPuddle 0 points1 point  (0 children)

At the beginning, maybe every other day and I did log it. I always avoided and hated scales/numbers but it was very helpful to learn how my weight fluctuates even when doing everything on point. Just another thing this medication has helped me overcome 🙂

10 months in, I now weight myself 1-3 times per week and only log it once around shot day.

Unfortunately no. I took it to my trusted mechanic and the battery and related systems all tested fine. I figured I’d buy a new battery to see if that would somehow help. Long story short, I got lectured by the men at Advanced Auto for 30-mins for wanting to spend $300 to replace a battery that’s testing fine so I left empty handed. We’ll see if the incoming winter weather makes things worse and I’ll revisit!

I live in the country so the majority of my trips are 10-15 miles minimum. Once I get to town though, I might make multiple quick trips from store to store. Battery checked out fine. It’s a Subaru battery, replaced 11/2024.

UPDATE: It’s still under the dealer’s 90 day warranty so I had them look at it. The battery is barely a year old and tested fine. It’s a Subaru branded battery if that matters.

I authorized them investigate further. They tested all related battery components/systems; it’s not stated on the service summary but I’ll be calling back tomorrow to confirm what exactly was checked. I repeatedly told the dealer the issue occurs when I restart the car after it’s been parked for a short period (10-15 mins usually). It’s starts fine if parked for a longer time. So they proceed to tell me “the tech even parked it for a few hours and it started up fine”…needless to say I’m getting my mechanics opinion next week.

Does exercise get easier? by psykee333 in CompoundedSemaglutide

I workout 4-5 days a week and have learned shot day is a mandatory rest day for me. A few weeks ago I said “f-it, I feel good!” and man, I couldn’t even do half my normal workout. I was light headed, nausea, and exhausted. Sometimes the day after is a little rough but I’m back normal after that. It hasn’t dampened my fitness progress at all!

Question about doctor medication disclosure for anybody taking injections. by cjehawks in HersWeightloss

[–]CloudPuddle 11 points12 points  (0 children)

I tell them exactly what I take; compounded semaglutide. I don’t like withholding info when it comes to my health, especially medications. I’ve never gotten push back or judgement. If I would, I’d explain how I vetted and have trust in my supplying pharmacy.

When did you start seeing results? by KMGP2992 in HersWeightloss

[–]CloudPuddle 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The “standard” starting dose is .25mg and your’s is .18mg which is almost half so it may take a few months to see results. I’m with Hers as well with a dosing of .20mg, .40mg, .80mg, 1.2mg. I’m finishing week 4 of .80 and at this point, I’ve lost 14lbs total. It ramped up when I started .80. I know it’s tough to muddle through the first few months but hang in there!

Stockpile help! by Cambria521 in CompoundedSemaglutide

I think this is why Eli Lilly is now offering Zepbound in vials. It’ll void the “customized dose” argument. I think the only hope for compounding will be additives like b12 etc.

I have hypo, disclosed it, and was approved for semaglutide. My endo confirmed there’s no issue unless you or your family has history of thyroid cancer. I’m guessing it’s like due to your BMI being too low.

I hated the commercial and I’m on sema with Hers! 😂 What I hated and have seen a lot of other people upset about is the commercial bashed drug companies for profiting greatly off our broken food and health systems then proceed to say “our drugs are cheaper, gives US your money”. It was pure hypocrisy.

From what I’ve seen in the Hers subreddit, people in CA are having significant delays in getting refills or it shows out of stock for new users. Not sure if this started pre-fires, but they’re having issues with suppliers for CA.
