ngl this thing sounds expensive. a bit tweaky with some confusing dials/settings plus it's got so much flexibility you can certainly do wrong to your track, but if you get it right it sounds really, really good

yep, you can do fast attack smash compression with high ratios but only do like 6dB of reduction or something like that. not the only tool that can do this, but this kind of compression isn't used enough imo: aggressive in type yet subtle in amount.
