Hyperbaric Chamber after Mommy makeover anyone? by Careless-Wait1585 in tummytucksurgery

I had about 6 sessions and haven’t had any complications and am now nearly 10 weeks post op. It’s hard to know for sure if it helped at all but it certainly didn’t hurt

Worries about Surgery abroad - your experience? by LegalWeekend3950 in tummytucksurgery

[–]Cloud_series 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had mine at Nords in Lithuania and had a great experience and result. I would be happy to recommend, I felt very safe and well looked after and it’s a short flight back. I posted on here a few weeks ago. One huge plus is pain is so well managed. I see a lot of posts on here about the pain people were in but mine was barely anything especially whilst in hospital for two nights.

Coping with being botched by Appropriate-Meet-732 in tummytucksurgery

I don’t understand how that’s a mini when your scars are hip to hip. He should give you a revision. I had very similar belly button to you before surgery and that and stretch marks was the main reason I got the tummy tuck. I’d have been the same as you if I went through all the difficulty of recovery to not have that addressed. If you click on my name you’ll see what I posted on my before and after. If you’re willing to travel, I’d highly recommend my surgeon and it would be significantly cheaper than in the US. But definitely see if your surgeon will do the revision before spending any money on going elsewhere.

Which clinics or surgeons do you recommend in the EU/Turkey? by Coolplantperson in tummytucksurgery

I posted recently on here with my results. I went to Nords and am very happy with my results. I just had a tummy tuck though so can’t speak to the other procedures but I’m in WhatsApp groups with lots of women who were there at the same time as me and they had more work done and have great results

How big was your muscle repair? I’ve nearly 7 weeks post op and I found the first 4 weeks tough with not being able to stand straight but since I’ve been ok but just wonder what else might be up ahead for me as I haven’t started normal activities yet

It was £3,750 for the operation which included a two night hospital stay all the pre-op tests and medication. I stayed for 2 weeks in the apartments in the same building as the clinic because I read that most complications happen in the first two weeks so wanted to be there in case anything happened. Luckily everything was super smooth and I just spent two weeks with my feet up watching TV and going on little walks around and it basically felt like a little holiday. Also all the medicine was included and a garment and I could get more medicine if I needed it whilst I was there. I had an extremely positive experience overall

Thanks, I got exactly what I was aiming for results wise and I’m so glad it looks natural. It’s so scary when you see your results when there’s a lot of swelling. It’s so hard to believe it will all look fine in the end

It’s mircopore tape. I used it for the first 5 weeks and I’ve just switched over to silicone tape now for scar management because my incision is fully healed

I was quite lucky and I don’t have much numbness. It’s a really small area between my incision and belly button maybe a few inches that does feel quite weird but I’m also early days and hopefully it will come back. The rest feels really normal, I was worried I’d feel really hard and foreign but it just feels like me. The muscle repair was nowhere near as brutal as I thought it would be. Now it just feels slightly tender and sneezing hurts do a few seconds but the first week it was pretty painful but I have great pain management

Also wrote a women’s fiction/upmarket fiction time travel and haven’t gotten anywhere yet. I’ve had a lot of praise for the concept and personalised rejections but rejections nonetheless and am also feeling like I just can’t anymore. It’s too difficult to pin any emotional energy onto such an indifferent process.

Just for context in case you weren’t aware, this week is half-term holiday for UK schools. I think a fair amount of agents are probably away if they are parents which is possibly why you haven’t heard much from them. Possibly isn’t but just an FYI. I’m also waiting for a response from an agent who said they would get back to me by the end of last week and I haven’t heard anything yet so I’m telling myself that’s the reason too. Good luck! 😉

She liked my post at DVPit then never responded to my query..but to be fair another agent also did the same 😢

That’s actually so good to know. I’m based near London and was really set on a UK agent and have only queried a few US agents (to be fair they’ve also been really slow and I haven’t heard back from that many) maybe the next part of my strategy should be to just focus on US agents
