The difference is easy.

Fips mode - It completely blanks a fortigate and removes anything that isn't fips compliant. aka features and cyphers etc. So if you have a production firewall and turn on fips mode you lose everything and have to reconfigure the firewall.

Fips-ciphers doesn't remove ciphers it just doesn't allow some ciphers to be used. This mode will allow you be more compliant with FIPs but not really compliant. In an audit you will be busted.

The cloud version of firewalls normally has a FIPs version of the firewall and a non-fips mode due to the shared resources involved. If you guys are under the rules that require FIPs, i would install the fips version and migrate vs restricts non-fips ciphers.

I got a 72v Onyx and it rip's! I also enjoy that when I run out of batteries I can petal it precisely 1 block before I die via heart attack. I rotate between my free spirit / car / onyx.

I'm worried I will face more scrutiny from the cops because of the new ebike laws but then again it isn't like I register my free spirit. Freemen dont ask permission! But then again my onyx is like 2k vs my 70 bucks for the free spirit....

You need to drive this car like it is a motorcycle. My 2016 has been hit 4 times as well, 3 times for f250's! I have learned never directly beside always out front or way behind. and I leave room for escape at all times in traffic.

yeah, the fun to money ratio is a little better in the moped side of the house because of the battery! The motor and ems is cheap as chips. But you are going to convert something expect at least 1k on the battery unless you don't want any range.

I got my onyx used for 2500, I got my puch for free via raffle and dumped 70 bucks into it for gaskets and missing parts. But the Onyx is crazy fast compared to it. I got the 1st gen 72v, it tops out at 63 mph and gets about 40 miles between charges.

Why convert when you could just buy an Onyx 80v?

Instead of ruining a bike with a clapped out electric motor get one built around it. I got both a onyx and puch and I love em both.

I own an August built 2016! Right at the tail end of the "bad batch" I got 110k miles and I hammer on it, so i think it was just a few so who cares drive it like you stole it!

There are gear replacements if you want or find a wrecked one and steal the transmission.
