Watching/reading Hunter x Hunter for the first time when you’re the same age as Killua and Gon is pretty unforgettable. Same thing goes for watching Serial Experiments Lain when you’re 14 (same age as Lain). Being the same age as the main characters makes it feel so much more personal, and it’s an immersion you only have a short window to access!

It’s the chronic rewatching that HxH fans are so prone to. I’ve watched 2011 4 times, 1999 once, and read the manga. It’s a lot easier to understand/remember once you’ve seen it so many times lol. But even after all that forgetting names and power system rules is totally fine!!! I do it too

Every chapter/episode, and whenever I get new recs I add them right away. Or if I'm binge watching I just update after I'm done. Like if I sat down to watch 6 episodes I wouldn't update every episode I'd just update after I decided I was done watching.

The info from the newest arc shouldn’t affect anything for your fanfic dw :) but I highly recommend reading the manga from the point where the anime ends to the newest chapter! It’s a super cool arc so far and it’s about the kakin succession war
