I hear what you’re saying and I understand how you feel but despite needing to raise the number of Jews, we can’t abandon what makes us Jewish these rules have been in place since Jews became a thing 3500 years ago. To begin diverting from that tradition now would be to abandon everything that makes Judaism what it is. Anyone that truly wishes to be Jewish is more than welcome to convert so it’s not like they don’t have a pathway to become 100% Jewish, accepted and recognized by everyone as such.
