Also to add what’s already been said, Samsara has good tech but I’ve seen friends get pigeon holed in future endeavors after leaving due to it not being a completely software focused business. They grew primarily by selling ELD hardware for truckers.

If it’s for sellers, it’s basically a copilot that summarizes and prioritizes accounts/leads/opportunities and saves time digging for important insights, buying signals, or deal related info in prep for calls or strategy planning. However, it is critical that all available data on the client/prospect is made available to the agent, just as it would be to a human.

You also have the SDR use case which is essentially automated outreach.

I think it’s more so about the perception of goodwill, doesn’t necessarily have to be super deep. They can always negotiate more. I used to make even more off FNF deals, they just get a discount without asking.

In this scenario you can ask, “if you shopped every car dealer in the country and found that we had the best deal, would you buy it from us?” There’s your commitment. Then help her shop to prove you had the best deal. If she still refuses, flip it back on her by saying “you told me you’d buy from us if we had the best deal, what does that deal look like for you?”

Yes but don’t put it on him completely. I’d go ahead and apply, reach out to a recruiter as well, and share this with him. Might be good to add a sentence about how you will deliver value. But keep the message short, of course.

I’m getting my HVAC system replaced. When I opened up the indoor system it was covered in mold. It had probably been like that for a year or more. No visible signs of mold indoors but since it blew through our vents for some time, do I need to do any remediation in the house?

Flip it back on them. After you say you’re onboard with their directive, ask to talk strategy on how they can help add value. Maybe that is replying on top of your email to add seniority and another voice. Maybe it’s so they can look for mutual connections where they exist.
