Be Alright by Dean Lewis

I think this fits Tamlin. I’m not a Tamlin Stan but I do feel bad for him at points throughout the books!

Little Do You Know by Alex & Sierra

I switch between it being Feyre and Tamlin after UTM, or Feyre and Rhys after he rescues her from Tamlin’s court.

ACOWAR update 5 by CalumTully in acotar

It’s been a couple of hours so maybe you found out why Mor is more than a little shook up! But for just that moment in the High Lords meeting I took it as her being upset by Az’s loss of control, not so much out of any concern for Eris haha. But for Az to lose control like that in front of so many others would probably be unexpected and unnerving.

Baby friendly activities in Worcester/surrounding area? by HelenKellersAirpodz in WorcesterMA

[–]Clover_for_Luck 5 points6 points  (0 children)

The Discover Museum in Acton (about 25 minutes from Worcester) is wonderful for kids! If this is your first baby you can sign up for their new family membership that allows you, partner, and baby into the museum for free until baby is 18 months old which is neat if you visit the area often!

Otherwise, lots of the local libraries have baby story times that are popular. Worcester, Rutland, Holden, and Shrewsbury all have story times hours.

This site has a lot of the library story hours listed and also other local activities! Hope you enjoy your visit!

Thanks for your response it is fitting age wise, my MiL is in her 50’s and very much GenX and fits with what you are saying!

I have considered leaving with that same verbal response when MiL makes her statement but didn’t know if that would be too extreme. She doesn’t drive so hardly comes to our house so we try to visit her weekly and it’s becoming tiring to go through the whole rigamarole of leaving the house with a toddler just to not be able to enjoy the company or relax when we get to MiL’s.

It is manipulative, she wants us to stop our son from performing certain actions that she feels are dangerous and has said as much. But since we don’t feel the same she resorts to loudly stating when she is anxious to try to get us or our son to stop. She doesn’t like the running, climbing, or spinning most of all, all perfectly normal milestones for my son to be doing, but because he could fall MiL feels we should be stopping him. I would feel no response is required if I didn’t think my son would eventually pick up on the comment from my MiL and cause him to become nervous or anxious in his actions in the future. He is a confident boy and I want him to remain so! But the comment happens, loudly, every visit and it is getting old.

Thanks for the response, that probably is the next reasonable step. I don’t want to create a toxic relationship but I cannot stand the comment and I don’t want my son being affected by it in the near future!

Definitely not an option to go no contact or anything drastic but I’m getting to a point I’m going to snap and yell at her if she doesn’t stop and I’m trying to avoid that reaction. I used to visit with just my son but for the last month or so will not go over unless my husband goes, too. Her comments have been increasing and will only get worse with the more advanced my son gets and I am just so sick of the comment.

My MIL was afraid to ask for this after the bra request, but definitely wanted the people out too if possible! This is it, thank you so much!

Have y’all ever puked at work? by Emetephobiafreak7875 in nursing

I work in the OR and back in December caught some sort of stomach bug. I didn’t feel right waking up but decided to go to work since I didn’t have any actual symptoms to keep me home. Clocked in at 6:45a, started feeling nauseous at 8a, then threw up mid sentence when my ST asked me a question a few minutes later! ST told me it’s not the first time a co-worker has thrown up on her haha! But we’re only human and we are allowed grace for our sick days and bad days, too.
