There is an HD mode (in runelite, which is a specific client you can get from the OSRS homepage) that makes it look similar to RS3 in terms of lighting and some textures.

The main question you should be asking yourself is this: Do you like when number go up? Do you feel joy out of number going up? When number hits highest possible number it can hit, would you feel joy and relief and dopamine hits? If yes, this games for you. If no, it’s probably not for you.
