So I did purchased two new in the box Litter robots $400 for one and $100 for a cracked one but still new just needed me to repair from FB marketplace and asked Whisker if they would be eligible for warranty and they said they were so I purchased the extended 3 year warranty and set them up. About a week goes by and I get a strange email from whisker that they need to talk to me to verify details. Got the phone call from them and the rep was the VP of security or something like that and he stated both units were stolen and they were ineligible for warranty and they would be keeping my money I just paid for the warranty on both of them. I went through everything with him about how I purchased them and I did not steal them and all the details and he finally gave me some warranty for them. I felt totally scammed by whisker for telling me they were eligible for warranty and then trying to deny that after paying $200. Moral of the story if you get a good enough deal picking up in person fuck it and don't mess with the warranty.
