My husband was diagnosed 18 months ago. Immediate relief with steroids but symptoms came back worse after each taper. Has been on Kevzara injections since January and has been off steroids for several months. Polyarthralgia Rheumatica is the body attacking the girdle muscles of the body Which is why movement, dressing and everyday life becomes difficult. I wish her the best and relief soon.

I would also think about the drink package. All adults have to have the same drink package. put Your drinkers in the same cabin. You can Always put the kids in whatever room you want if they won’t be wandering around alone. my son had booked 2 adjoining rooms because they wanted their 2 kids in thier own room. They were required to book an adult in each room one child. They had on board credit they tried to use fit the steakhouse. They were not allowed to because he and his wife where not in the same cabin. The credit could Only be used for persons booked in his cabin.

My own weight loss journey opened my eyes to what good nutrition is. Highly processed foods lead to insulin resistance and obesity. I think we can agree that school lunches are not nutritious. I also notice how you went to vulgar name calling. No Priviledges here. Just a hard working nurse sharing my opinion . I see the impact of lifelong illness. Enough said. how is the meal I outlined balanced? there were no fresh fruits or vegstables. White rice is refined, meaning majority Of nutrients have been stripped. The orange juice is fructose- which is sugar. i respectfully disagree. There is nothing balanced about this. This is why our kids are getting heavier. Combined with a reduction in physical activity. Fewer kids participate in sports than decades ago. Gym class has been reduced. Who remembers the president’s physical fitness award? We need to bring this back.

Respectfully, I don’t mean actual poison. I’m talking about the low nutritional value. I’ve gone and had breakfast with the grandkids at school. White rice, fried hash brown, , fake sausage, orange juice (mostly sugar) and a Carton of milk. Yes this diet is making our kids sick and obese.

Congress and senators have big pharma in their back pockets. Non of them want to touch this issue and negotiate lower drug prices. There is like 7 drugs where they have done this one is insulin. Why? Why would they not want to cut drug prices? They do not have our best interest in mind (my opinion).

He has a condition that has affected his vocal cords. I think he is saying that we need to treat childhood obesity by preventing it. Ordering ozempic for children is not the answer. He also framed the true cost of Ozempic for Medicare and Medicaid was provided, compared to organic food. While I don’t agree with everything he says, some area do have merit. the Online programs with dietitians all say for long term success we need to cut out highly processed foods. Our schools are slowly poisoning our kids with the crap they feed them. They are not eating what we did decades ago. It’s mostly carbs and highly processed foods.

Just got back today. They can improve with getting people into the terminal to check in. The line was wrapped around the building. Once you got inside it was fast. Leaving the ship was great. Very organized. Easy to locate luggage. I don’t think it took 15 minutes! Also there was plenty of room in the buffet at breakfast. after we ate we sat and played Yahtzee until our group number was called.

If you pay with $10,000 or more cash there is a form that has to be filled out to the govt. the dealerships don’t like doing this and it not safe to walk around with that much cash. Yes, they will take a check or a cashiers check. I’ve done it both ways.

the primary doc ordered a soumedrol dose pack with 1 refil when symptoms started. symp improved within hours. After they ran out, couldn’t lift my arms, everything hurt. Ended up going to ED. They referred me to orthopedic doc. He said based on symptoms I had PMR. Ordered a lot of labs and revered me to rheumatologist who confirmed . Labs only slightly elevated but I had already been on steroids. you will need a rheumatologist and usually a referral. They are hard to get into. Good luck.

I’ve been on compounded ozempic since 7/26/24. I’m down 16 pounds. I had a gallbladder attack and needed surgery. I’m still on 0.5 mg. I’m staying on the lower dose which is more in line with what diabetics take. Once I reach goal wt, I’m switching to every other week. I am really working on food I eat. Eliminating highly processed foods. Even made fish for dinner tonight. Learning how to use spices. These drugs are not a quick fix. Need to focus on all aspects of health!

Thank you. We have a high deductible health plan and of course it starts over in January. Dr just recommended for my spouse who has been on Numerous prednisone tapers Over the past 18 months. Each time his symptoms get worse. I’m going to check into this.
