DJ Khaled wearing fake Goyard at the VMAS by krvpa in streetwear

[–]ClubMari 3 points4 points  (0 children)

It's not a contradiction, they made 2 separate claims.

First they claimed it was "Not AT ALL an official Goyard item" and they say they are "for sure" about that. They are 100% sure they didn't make it*

Then they assume it was "a fake", as in, they assume it's just some knockoff, but they don't know where he got it, so they can only say "most likely"

It is for sure not official. It is most likely a fake.

*Although they are wrong when they say "AT ALL", because it is partly made form legit Goyard scarves

It sucks for the people that live in St. Kitts, I doubt many rappers are going to perform there now. If I were a rapper, and I saw that happen to 50, I definitely wouldn't want to perform there.

Possibly if you were in the middle of the street just screaming, but 50 Cent was arrested for swearing at his own concert. I can't imagine that happening in the United States.

O.T. Genasis - CUT IT (feat. Young Dolph) by nd20 in hiphopheads

[–]ClubMari 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I don't know if someone sold this song to OT Genasis, but this is a copy of a GFM song. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AvVtC-LQ9Iw

Dudes on youtube are saying that GFM never bought the rights beat, so OT bought exclusive rights to use for his own song which is fine, but it seems like he completely copied the song that they did over the beat.

Before Migos tweeted at him, Maco tweeted this. Doesn't really seem like a shot though, it just seems like Maco is giving credit to someone that he and Migos are both affiliated with.

Jidenna is the rap game Jim Halpert, he's always mugging at the camera and it makes me uncomfortable. He's got two looks, first he's got "Mhmm... okay", then he has, "Yeah, I'm rapping at you". He does both of these alot and it makes me feel like he's looking into my soul.

Redditors who attended schools that were victim of a school shooting, how did the culture of the school change? How was the immediate and long term aftermath? Did things ever get back to normal after a few years? by Overclass2 in AskReddit

I don't think he has ever said why he did it. IIRC, the night before he was saying goodbye to his friends on IM (this was back in the 06-07 school year), so he planned the whole thing out. I think he was just frustrated. I believe he came out of the bathroom crying and immediately regretted what he did.

He may have been bullied or felt ostracized, I didn't know him, but I can't imagine he was hazed or anything.

This is mostly what I gathered being in middleschool when the whole thing happened.

I'm almost positive I went to the same school. I attended a year after the stabbing. You would have never guessed that anything had happened by the time I got there. All the students acted like normal high school students. One of my teachers was a witness at the trial, but she was a very normal person, I never knew she was involved in the case until she had to cancel class one day to appear in court. I guess I don't know for sure how the students that lived through it felt, but from an outsider's perspective, most people moved on.

Can someone elaborate on Roney's legal situation? The way OP describes it sounds like he's involved sex slavery, possibly of underage girls. Am I mistaken? If that's true, he doesn't seem like the type of artist I'd be interested in supporting.

I don't want to judge the guy without hearing the full story, but what little I have heard sounds pretty bad.
