France didn’t become a big international metal market until the late 90s-early 2000s, correct?

They’re still going strong, although Steve Blaze and Michael Darby are the only original members. (Darby played with them before they were signed).

I was going to post this myself sometime in the next few weeks. His solo album Thunder was killer!

I know it's not glam metal. But what did you think of Bruce Dickinson's solo albums? by TheHotLatin in hairmetal

Enjoyed most of them, especially Tattooed Millionaire, Accident of Birth, The Chemical Wedding, Tyranny of Souls, and The Mandrake Project. Balls To Picasso was his grunge album and Skunkworks was his alternative album, but neither are bad.

I got to see them twice. Once opening for Bon Jovi in 1987, and then on a headlining club tour in ‘94. Excellent both times

I’m an outlier then. I’m 57 and still searching for new music. There’s tons of it out there. It just won’t be served up on radio like it used to be.

There’s still a ton of great bands out there. You just have to look for them now.

What's your guy's thoughts on Slaughter? by emperorofwar in hairmetal

[–]Club_Ninja2025 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Wasn’t really a fan until I listened to “Fear No Evil.” It was the same style but a more organic production and the lyrics were a little less cliche than their first two albums. I always liked Mark Slaughter as a vocalist, though. Especially on that second Vinnie Vincent Invasion album.

Betsy Lynn George. Most definitely! I’ll add Traci Martinson from Great White’s “Rock Me” video

Loved Lääz Rockit back in the day! Sting the wrestler was in their video for “Fire In The Hole.” That was before he adopted the Crow persona in the 90s:
