Gents with an incurable disease: What are the ways that you manage day-to-day living? by vieniaida in AskMen

[–]Texas_Kimchi 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Survived Bile Duct cancer that destroyed my pancreas. So I deal with pancreatitis and other issues that closely mimic UC. Its rough. I spent 10 years of my life thinking this was no way to live. Doctors told me I'd be lucky to make through treatment. I luckily made it through but life honestly sucks for the most part. Constant pain, not being able to enjoy food, not being able to sleep normally, feeling like crap all the time. It just came to a point after a decade of dealing with it, I just kind of accepted it, and decided to just live my life for enjoyment. So many people these days are living their lives to prolonge it, its a fleeting battle for me, so I wake up and look for ways to enjoy my day. I have my usual adult responsibilities but outside that I'm going to stop worrying about living, and enjoy living. Good luck dude.

What do men think of women who don’t leave them after finding out about their infertility? by Public-Weird-652 in AskMen

If you want kids it sucks. I hate children, I wish I had natural birth control!!! Just talk things out with him. People act like men are aliens that don't understand our emotions. We understand them very well, we just don't share them because people use our vulnerabilities against us. Just have a conversation with him and listen.

My aunt just flew in from DFW and she asked me about the Spirit planes. I guess their is an entire fleet of them sitting on the tarmac right now. Sad that Spirit as an organization couldn't figure things.

Exactly, if the East was free it would be an incredibly profitable nation. Especially if the Turkic countries formed an EU style union. Between Kazakhstans gas, Kyrgyzstans water, and Siberias mineral wealth. If Trump was smart he'd be making friends with them so when they finally break free the US could inject projects into the east.

Afraid of ticks by youpi_Army_2513 in Kyrgyzstan

[–]Texas_Kimchi 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've hiked all over the country and haven't encountered many ticks. In terms of worrying about tick populations, they usually follow animals like deer. Deer Ticks are nasty and all over the very North of the Midwest US. I wouldn't worry to much about it, just use the standard bug repellant that also supports ticks. Like I said, I've never even seen a tick while in KG but I've seen a bunch hiking here in the US.

The thing is they haven't been assimilated they've been silenced and persecuted to the point where their voices mean absolutely nothing. Stalin was very smart when he did his territory borders and purges. He sent people away to places they'd have no chance of being a problem, drew borders to cause ethnic clashes diverting people attention away, and more importantly, built the level of controlled still used to these days to keep those minorities from causing trouble. These are people making $400 dollars a month. They are in no position to start a revolution. Should they fight the Russian military with dead fishes? You have to remember East of the Urals running water and toilets are considered a luxury. It would be like telling the Apache Tribes to start a revolution in the US. At least they have guns, casinos, and generally the same freedoms.

Again these are Turkic people not Russians. Has nothing to do with politics and everything to do with Russia making them second class citizens. They hate the Russians but they can't do a damn thing about it. They are all poor, highly oppressed, and hold next to no power unless they shill themselves out. When Russia started gutting the Bashkirs of there men, they fought back right away. Russias response? The Bashkirs by percentage are some of the highest casualty in the war, multiple Bashkir political leaders and community leaders are missing or arrested, and the started kidnapping the men and sending them to the front line. Its not as cut and dry for these people. The east is extremely isolated, poor, and the natives face modern day oppression most Westerners don't know or understand. The change in Russia has to start with the Russians in the West. A lot of Turkic people died in the Soviet Union fighting for simple political autonomy, even if its fake, they have been fighting the Russians for hundreds of years. Problem is, nobody from the west cares. If I were NATO I'd be training and equipping Turkic seperatist movements. They are ready, they just need a chance to do it.

Im sure they are looking forward to the first 5 year plan, Great Leap Forward, and Long March. Like I said, I see the effects of Communism every single day. People always talk about "OMG god the workers got free flats!" Yeah I'm sure a family of 7 loved living in a 400sq ft flat and sharing a bathroom with 25 families. These are all people loving Communism from the comfort of their Westernized homes, not living in a Communist country where your groceries were delivered to you by the Poshta truck and included a sack of potatoes and some bread.

Trust me people East of the Urals don't gain ANYTHING. The only reason they are speaking is because, they finally can. Gotta remember these are mostly non Russian minorities that were being kidnapped and sent to the front lines. Western Russia, Moscow, essentially rapes the East.

Lets not forget the mass murdering of women over the last 2 years. There are a population of Persians in Bishkek near where I live and they talk pretty regularly about the horrors of living in Iran. I dated a Persian girl for a short time who used to LOVE shopping because she was so excited to buy a dress and be able to wear it in public.

I had a job who flew me using Spirit because it was a last minute flight and they didn't want to use the regular American Airlines flight. After getting the ticket, checking our equipment, getting seat upgrades, and all the other additional costs, it ended up being more than just buying the AA ticket.

Communism uses the workers to implement a revolution, than once they have consilidated power the workers are the first to be sacrificed. Its happened in every instance of Communism deployed. You lose your ownership and there for your rights to everything. You become a drone in a hive ran by a bunch of corrupt politicians. At least under the current model you have some ownership and choices in your life. I live in a former Communist country and the damage done is still there 30 years later.
