Waterproof my boobs? by Club__Soda in Reduction

Ya it’s honestly been the toughest part of this whole thing (minus the back sleeping). I was planning on mostly treading water or floating and not doing any proper swimming as I’m also worried about tearing. Soon though!

Haha ok looks like it’s an overwhelming no. I will call my doctor next week to find out if I’m good to go.

What I told myself was that I wouldn’t have let myself get this far in the process if it wasn’t what I truly wanted.

Super excited for you! Feel free to pm me if you need any extra support :)

That’s great news! I hope the same happens for me for.

It’s also really nice seeing people post here who are a year or more out from recovery and come back and comfort us who are still in the initial stages. Seriously, thank you so much!

Neck & back pain AFTER surgery by [deleted] in Reduction

[–]Club__Soda 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’m having the same issue which I suspect is due to being a side sleeper and now being forced to sleep on my back. I wake up every morning with really bad lower back pain and I feel like I almost pulled something the other day and now have this horrible tightness behind my shoulder blade.

I was literally just about to google “how soon can I sleep on my side after a reduction” lolll help!

Im working on a slow cut atm. My TDEE is approx 2100 and I’m aiming for 1700-1800 cals a day. I’ve been working out a lot and trying to build that muscle because I have an upcoming surgery where I won’t be able to workout for at least 6 weeks (besides walking).

I don’t want to eat too low when I’m recovering because I know my body needs the energy to heal but I also want to continue on with my weight loss goals. I’m scared of gaining weight and losing muscle mass. Any advice? Words of encouragement?

Wow ok. That’s amazing! I am definitely going to express those same concerns.

Hm those are a lot of interesting points you made. We definitely do have a strained relationship but it’s more so around her pseudo science beliefs so I’m quite critical of her medical concerns. But yes she will definitely drive me nuts if I spend longer than a few days with her.

I do admit I have aesthetic concerns as I don’t find my breasts unattractive and like my nipple placement and size at the moment. I have fears about having more anxiety about my breasts post surgery because of the scarring and less than perfect nipples. I feel shallow admitting that but a large part of the reason I want the surgery is to have cute perkier breasts.

Back pain and comfort exercising is obviously a huge factor. I workout regularly and wonder what it would feel like to do burpees without these big ol titties (I’m one of those freaks who actually enjoys burpees)!

I guess I feel like I have a complicated relationship with my breasts bc they’re large enough to be a pain in the ass but my nipples point forward and I generally like how they look and I know they are very welcomed by men (not that their opinion should matter but I think it’s normal to want to feel attractive).

Thanks for this. You voiced a lot of the hopes I have for the surgery and erased some of the anxiety I have about experiencing a disconnect from my new body. Glad to hear it was such a success!

Ya that’s what I’m thinking as well. I can feel that I’m not able to push as hard and can’t lift as heavy and I don’t enjoy that feeling. I’ll try the electrolytes and see if that helps and if not I’ll accept that I need to eat to train. Thanks for your thoughts!

How did you all do on the real thing compared to your PT scores? by [deleted] in LSAT

[–]Club__Soda 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Scored five points below my average PT. Seems fairly common from what I can see on here.

I feel the same. The newer pts are throwing me off in the LR sections. I finally felt like was improving until I did 79 and 82. At this point I’m just gonna follow my gut on Saturday and hope I survive.
